Let me go on record here... I know many of you know about my love for Bettie Page, Vampira, Elvira, Little Nell Campbell, and a couple of others who would count as being 'List' material. Let me give you a peek at some of the ladies who are on the current 'List': - Kat Von D - Johanna Angel (to be truthful, most any of the Burning Angel/Suicide Girls models that look like they have had a decent meal recently) - Patricia Day of The Horrorpops This post has been inspired by THESE PICS posted by my friend evb from last Wednesday's Warped Tour stop here in the Baltimore/DC area. I really should have budgeted the cash to join her there, all I'm going to say. |

Free Stuff Friday: peta2 Button Packs! What better way to support your fave cause than by wearing your thoughts on your sleeve, bag, hoodie, what have you, and that's where free peta2 buttons come in!
Photo courtesy of LBP ProductionsSportin' some peta2 flare is a great way to speak up without actually having to say word and we've got a button for pretty much any issue you can think of. And since we want you to get out there and spread the word every chance you get, we thought we'd give some buttons away! It was tough to decide which buttons to include in the packs because all of the issues are important to me, but these are some of my faves, so here goes. Each pack will have one of the following: Boycott KFC, Cut Class, Not Frogs, Powered by Tofu because, well, because I love fried tofu, and the classics I Am Not a Nugget, and No Fur. Want to get your hands on one of three free peta2 button packs? Just comment below telling me which peta2 campaign is nearest and dearest to your heart and why? Simple, right? This contest ends August 1, 2008 and the winners will be chosen and notified by August 8, 2008. Just so you know...by commenting here, we're taking that as acknowledgment that you've read and agreed to our privacy policy. Also by commenting, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Good luck! xox Patricia |

"You think YOU have problems? - I live in Rhode Island." Subject quote = courtesy of a patient's license plate oops, bumper sticker. xD And it's so true. Good lord. But today has been full of lulz aside from that → talking about spazzy doctors, how the people of China have a plot against Laverne because the desk wouldn't go together properly, how doctors only like new magazines [less than 2 months old] in the waiting room, and mitral, aortic, and tricuspid regurgitations. "There's nothing like a good regurg. in the morning to get your day on a roll! :D" -me, because I'm really out of it today. To explain shortly → the docs put "mitral regur.," "aortic reg.," etc., etc., on the charges for diagnoses sometimes, and it's just an amusing word to say. "Regurg" XD' Oh, and to further prove how out of it I am → when I went out to my car, I had to unlock it manually [Honda-san's alarm unlocks it, but the locks still stay... locked xD anyway sometimes] so I get in the car and shut the door. I go to put the key in the ignition and I can't find it. So I'm all: "wtf.. I just had it D<" and it took me a good minute to realize that the keys were still stuck outside the door... yeah... XDDD I told Laverne, and her response was: "See, that's when you should've just thrown up your hands and said 'I'm done' and went back in the house. Or the beach." In other news, I had some really PHUCKED UP dreams last night - more like nightmares. I've been having nightmares a lot lately, for whatever reason. Anyway, in the dream, it was like... I was a spectator, as usual, but at the same time, I was the present-day me and a childhood me. So there were two Hanas - an adult and like a 8-year-old kid O_o And in the dream, I think adult Hana was child Hana's mom somehow xD' and some guy was trying to kill us; at first he robbed a candy store we were at and then he followed us home. And then he turned into this mutant-type of monster... thing O_o;; and then ghosts started appearing around adult Hana. I remember being both Hanas at the same time, and that was the really bizarre part xD - I was the little Hana freaking out and the big Hana was unaware that there was a deformed corpse about to choke her. >____> ... something more upbeat! :D → I've been working on a crap-ton of graphics//icons lately, and I got one of the two profile layouts I wanted to do done last night. I forgot to add credit for the textures in the banner, and I think the color of the table is a bit off from the banner, but that's an easy fix. A preview is up at yet another account I have → arisu_4lice 8] It's Shin, the drummer of Cinema Bizarre. [the other profile layout will be a Shin one too, just a different layout style xD'] PS: Oh, and I BOMBED EVER SO EPICALLY on my math test last night XD So I have to take it next week sometime. Along with the other test for the next chapter. Some lady went over it with me; and out of all the 'teachers' there, I like her least because she's really condescending. ¬_¬ She was all: "Oh, you got these five problems wrong; they're all the same. You kept making the same mistake. *laugh*" Uh yeah, because I can't do math 8D Lady, I don't give YOU grief for not being able to speak English properly and how you get your tenses wrong, which isn't a bad thing, you're a foreigner [sounds somewhere near Russia] so I understand, but you should get off OTHER people's backs for not doing a math problem right. :D I can't do a math problem, and you can't speak English well. A fair trade? Yay, sandwich time 8D Gonna go now. Current Mood: bouncyCurrent Music: People conversingggg. |

I'm gonna stay out and play out without you Having a tiny moment of despair. My paycheck isn’t in my account yet. Getting paid from a new division, hoping it’s a paper check today. Otherwise, I don’t know when they would cut another check for me. I will be screwed like somebody’s prison bitch. EDIT: I got a paper check for one week of work. Panicked, popped over to Jim. He made some investigations. They’re cutting a paper check for the other week of work and fed-exing it. I’ll have it Monday. Phew. Despair gone!
In other news, our wireless router at home isn’t working, hasn’t been since like Tuesday. My computer’s internet cable comes out of the router. Meg said last night “Since we’re likely going to be moving, we’ve got one computer with the internet, do we really need to call the cable guy?” Um, YES! We’re giving the router a break today, think it overheated in this shittay weather. But if I still have no internet tomorrow morning, we are calling the cable guy.
Had this strange dream last night. Was having sex with some random, rather wholesome looking boy in the park, saw the asshole who shall not be named mowing the park grass. Flipped out cuz he should never ever be anywhere in my suburbs. There was some old fashioned bandstand out there which I dropped my vitamin water beneath and hid under there figuring out what to do. I crawled out and suddenly I was in an apartment, asshole was at the door flanked by two cops who immediately arrested him. Then I was laying in a driveway with the wholesome guy and he said “This is where we first made love.” And I laughed cuz that’s such a pansy thing to say and couldn’t figure out why we were in a driveway. I decided this is my brain figuring shit out: 1. I’m ready to move on/moving on with new guys 2. Am spending way too much time in the park 3. Am terrified of seeing the scary ex 4. Am drinking way too much vitamin water 5. The cops arresting him so quickly and him suddenly disappearing means my brain knows he’s really not gonna bother me anymore
I'm in a damn good mood! |

Weird Day Today... First and foremost, I may have promised an elspeth post to my new friend today, but it's just not realistic at this point. Maybe if insomnia happens again tonight. I apologise. Things got out of hand today. First, I did not realise that everyone would find my views on incest so talk-about-able. I enjoyed our discussion, but I didn't prioritise that too well. I had to wait on a parcel from UPS too. That was distracting. Also, there was no way I could have known that I would suddenly have an anorexic anxiety relapse today. You see, I have protein bread toast with peanut butter for breakfast every morning. Today, I had the not so bright idea to look at the calories in peanut butter. But then I wanted to know that I was eating exactly one serving each morning... so I took a measured tablespoon to the jar and made little dollops of peanut butter and wrapped them in plastic wrap. So yeah... mental clarity not so present today. Now I'm going to get in the shower, which is actually what I had planned to do first thing this morning. *facepalm* Current Mood: busyCurrent Music: none |
