Question about Adobe After Effects:
I want to create an animation in which a looped movement will be played over a background that is moving.
The background is based off a vertically long photoshop file that will begin at the bottom of the file then scroll up.
The looped animation is a clam, opening and closing it's shells.
How would I go about doing this?
All the animation is created in photoshop. The clams have a blank background (transparent) and are saved as a quicktime file.

hi, everybody!

so, i'll get straight to the point. a few months ago, i downloaded photoshop cs2, the 30 day trial and when it was over, i was sort of in a rush at that time and began deleting the photoshop folders and files. but when i got photoshop cs3 again, a few days ago, i got an error box when i tried to install it, which said "the log file (photoshop location) is not valid or the data has been corrupted. uninstallation will not continue". is there anyone who has experienced anything like this? any suggestions because it's very frustrating. thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! I stumbled across this community while looking for someplace I could potentially have a question regarding Adobe Illustrator answered. The paintbrush tool is oddly disagreeing with me at the moment, and I'm quite puzzled by it -

I'm trying to use the paintbrush tool to ink over these figures, which were initially sketched in Photoshop - something I've done many a time before but I've never encountered any problems until now:

For some reason whenever I try to use the paintbrush tool, my mouse appears only as a circle with a line through it and will not let me use the tool. =/ As you can see, all my layers are unlocked and normal, and yet I encounter the same problem on every layer. No amount of browsing through Adobe help files seems to contain the answer to this simple yet very irritating issue. Help would be vastly appreciated, thank you in advance! :)
