I posted in this community a really long time ago and I am so happy with the friends I got from it. So, why not try for some more?

My name's Deana and I'm 24 years old. I live in Columbus, Ohio and am attending school online with the University of Phoenix. Photography is my biggest hobby and I am hoping to start posting more of my work on my LJ. I love to travel, even if it is just a few hours down the road. Any place new is an adventure for me. I am a huge country music fan, but can tolerate pretty much anything. I love animals and routinely assist in the training of seeing eye dogs, just to help the community.

Time to introduce myself. Name is Christine but you can call me Chris or Chrissy. I’m 25, a figure skater, and a Starbucks barista. I’ve been skating for three years now and have performed at Rockefeller Center three times and competed three times at Chelsea Piers. I started working at Starbucks in April of 2008 and it’s the best job I ever had.

My favorite singer is Jason Castro. And even though he didn’t win American Idol this year, he is my American Idol. My favorite group is NKOTB, always has and always will be. My favorite type of music is folk rock, rock, and pop. I love to go to concerts.

I have a long list of favorite movies by what it comes down to is that my ultimate favorite is Grease and John Travolta is my favorite actor.

I love going to Broadway plays and my favorite is Phantom of the Opera, which I’ve seen three times.

I have loved magic ever since going to my first magic show when I was 8. My favorite magicians are Criss Angel and Harry Houdini. I like trying out tricks myself, but right now I just stick to card tricks.

There are two dates that will forever remain the best days ever. May 16, 2008: After 18 years of being a New Kids fan, one of my dreams came true when I finally met all 5 of them.

And on August 4, 2008, another dream came true when I met Jason Castro and got a hug from him. That’s all I have to say…if there’s anything else you wanna know…feel free to ask.

OK, about me. That's me in my userpic!I'm 24 and I'm currently residing in Southern California. I'm originally from Sydney, Australia but I'm over here studying at school here for a semester. I'm one of those people who love love love learning. My two majors are Film Studies and Journalism and my minor is English Literature. I'm currently undertaking an internship at a film company in LA as well. I'm having a great time over here, still get a bit homesick. But I love experiencing being in a foreign country! I go back to Sydney in January. My boyfriend still live there who I'm madly in love with so I gush over him a fair bit in my journal:).

Obviously, I completely love films and books. I watch any film really.I love films you have to think about and films that are easy to watch. I really love old films which were made before 1965, so classical Hollywood cinema. My all time favourite film is Gone With The Wind and I am obsesed with anything to do with it. Some of my other favourites are Breakfast At Tiffanys, Lord Of The Rings, Garden State, Dogma, Arsenic And Old Lace, A Philedelphia Story, Sunset Boulevarde, A Streetcar Named Desire, Love Actually, Amelie, Roman Holiday and It's a Wonderful Life. I'm the same with books, I'll read anything. I especially love biographies, thrillers, horror and chick lit.

Music wise I love rock and Oasis are my all time favourite. I'm waiting eagerly for a tour announcement!I also love Powderfinger, Coldplay, The White Stripes, Something With Numbers, Kings Of Leon, The Killers, Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco and Paramore. TV wise I love Six Feet Under, Entourage, Scrubs, Sex And The City, Beverly Hills 90210 (original), Americas Next Top Model, Bones, The Sopranos, Gossip Girl, The Hills, Hannah Montana and The Suite Life Of Zac and Cody...I love my guilty pleasures!

Thats about all I can think of about myself now..but I look forward to getting to know some of you!

So I need some new LJ friends. I have very few who post enough anymore, and I find myself refreshing my page every few minutes, hoping for new posts anytime now.

My name is Kristen, I am 25 years old and currently a graduate student. Originally from Missouri but living in South Carolina to attend Clemson University. Just recently got married too, but we lived together for 4 years before that, so we aren't all mushy all the time. No kids, except a fur baby, a cat named Kiki Monster. I tend to post often, at least once a day, usually more. I rarely write every little detail of my days, I tend to just write about what interested me about my day and so forth. I write about what I learn. I also like to post pictures too.

I am a caring person. I love people, especially kids. I love my family. And I love animals. I am sympathetic and don't judge others. I am open-minded and won't put up with ignorance, racism or any type of discrimination. I can handle being friends with different opinions than me as long as they are respectful to me as well. I am agnostic, so I never talk religion. I respect all religions, but don't want someone pushing theirs on me. I can handle anyone elses religious beliefs however if that isn't all they ever post about.

I do like to talk a lot too. When I comment, sometimes I write mini-stories, either with how I can relate, advice I may have, or just whatever pertains to the topic. I try my best to comment on every entry, but even if I fail at that, I comment on most. Unless of course, I NEVER hear from the other person, then I may stop since that is sort of rude. I like comments too afterall, that is why I am here!

So add me if you don't mind some randomness in your daily life. I tend to be sarcastic at times, though very few people seem to get that. I never am downright rude, more sarcastic about my own life and experiences. I love funny stuff too, so people with a good sense of humor are great in my book (especially dark humor, not really into really stupid humor).

Prefer people in their 20's at least. Around my age is great. Other than that, not much else is required. We can be totally different people and I can still like you.

hey guys, i'm casey. i'm 22 and starting my senior year in college studying public relations/advertising.

i currently live in fayetteville, arkansas for school but i'm originally from dallas, texas.. a little less inbred but, i'll gladly take shirtless babies at wal-mart in arkansas than people breaking into my car any time of the day in dallas. okay, that may be a little drastic.

i love etsy, crafting, music, sims 2 and downloading stuff for my sims, food, TV all day and all night, attempting to cook, painting, polymer clay, texting my life away, writing, design, just being creative!

bands i like (but i don't talk about music in my LJ ever.. i don't like to.. it reminds me of being in 9th grade and saying how much better my music was than everyone else's) brand new, the decemberists, old 97s, the avett brothers, kathleen edwards, demi lovato (lol yes from camp rock), taylor swift, tilly and the wall, etc etc etc.

Anyways, it's been a while since I've posted anything in any of these add me communities, so I figured I'd start off with this one.

So yeah. I'm a recovering university student seeking gainful employ. Journal is a mixed bag of all sorts of crap. Just looking through the past few months of posts I've made, I'm seeing posts on ... the family graduation bash my parents had for me and my sisters, the miracle question, a book on telegraph operators who fall in love (written in the 1890s I think?), summary of a night out with friends, bitching about my failed attempts with women, weight loss (20lbs and counting!), Alice in Wonderland, Barack Obama and why I think he's not the greatest thing since sliced bread, a very british coup, a quote from the movie fight club, a summary of a wedding I was at, some stuff about Afghanistan, light hearted humour about all of the terrible flooding going on in Canada and the US, more bitching about failed exploits with women, the dropkick murphys, posting some pictures of me shoveling my parent's driveway, pictures of dead people from the darkvictoria community, more dropkick murphys, and lots lots more!

Hi, I'm Angie.

I'm a 20 year old student who's prone to become infatuated with good conversationalists & drinks to much coffee. I have a tendency to get lost but I don't really mind so much, unless I have somewhere to be. Anyone who says that nothing is impossible clearly hasn't ever tried to slam a revolving glass door, I know because I have. I'm easily distracted by beautiful things, this probably keeps me from being really extraordinary at anything in particular but it does ensure that I'm well rounded.

My livejournal is a combination of my venting, amusing stories, random opinions on current events and letters that I'll probably never send.

Promoting myself, my interests, and what my journal entries will more than likely consist of in a paragraph or two is not going to be an easy task, to say the least, but I'll give it a go:

For starters, my name is Anna, and I'm a 20 year old college student living in Arizona. I am completely new to LiveJournal. I've NEVER had one before, but I can already tell that I'll fall in love with this. Meeting new, interesting people (who I can truly become FRIENDS with), is my primary concern at present. Bear in mind that because I am new, I don't have very many friends/entries yet. I do solemnly swear to comment and connect with all of you, though! That's what I'm here for, and I'll settle for no less.

I am...
- Majoring in Psychology, something that truly fascinates me, but my dream is to become a novelist.
- A bibliophile. Enough said. If you can relate with me on this, you are definitely added.
- A writer. Again, if you love to write, I see no reason as to why I wouldn't add you!
- An artist. I paint, sculpt, sketch, and paper mache (if I feel so inclined).
- An animal activist!
- Definitely outspoken. I don't want any hurt feelings, but that tends to happen occasionally with me. I want to add people with a backbone, who could possibly debate a little with me, and who I can learn from.

I'm not much for flaky people or friends collectors.
I'm Samantha, 19, and from Jonesboro, AR.
I'm a blonde hair/blue eyed German/Scandinavian.
I really want to become a doctor, but honestly, I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life.
I've had panic attacks for over 10 years (I take 6mg Klonopin daily- nice, yeah?)
I struggle on and off with an eating disorder, so if that isn't your thing, you might not want to add me.
I live in an entirely religious area, and my grandfather was a southern baptist preacher. Because of that, I pretty much loathe religion.
I listen to music like Nine Inch Nails, Alec Empire, and Deadsy.
I think marijuana should be sold in vending machines.
Hydrocodone is fun to take, too, but not very often because I don't want to be addicted to anything.

My name is Aisha. I'm eighteen, and I live in Nashville, TN. I'm originally from Dallas, TX. I'm half Asian. I have an awesome boyfriend named James, who is 28 and a musician (he plays bass in a black metal band named Enfold Darkness and he has his own electronic project as well). I'm on a hiatus from school, but I'll be attending Middle Tennessee State University soon with an Asian Studies major. I plan on being a translator after I graduate.

Quick facts:

- I want to actually be friends with the people on my list, so if you don't see that happening, no need to add me. :D
- I'm a bookworm. Chuck Palahniuk is one of my favorite authors. I also read a lot of horror and especially vampire books. I'm also an insufferable Harry Potter nerd - so much so that I read fanfiction and roleplay (although there is virtually no fandom talk in my journal.
- In my spare time, I watch a lot of foreign films, go to shows (metal shows, primarily), cook
(especially baking), write (fiction), and daydream.
-I've lived in four states in the past three years. I miss Raleigh, NC.
- I watch anime and read manga. No, it does not consume my life, and no, I'm not an "otaku". Trigun is my absolute favorite, hands down, but Outlaw Star and Bleach are close.

I'm an LJ user seeking some good journals to read and comment. I'm also looking for some people to give me some input in my entries.

My journal entries aren't out of this world. I'm an ordinary college college student with an ordinary life. But I'm feeling lonely in this LJ world and would like to share my ordinary life with some extraordinary people.

A bit about me and my interests:

-I'm 21 and a Junior at FGCU
-I love animals (I plan on getting my Masters in Wildlife)
-I try to be a bookworm, but time and school make it hard for me
-My favorite book is Pillars of the Earth
-I'm a musician, I play guitar, violin, viola, and piano.
-I love jamming with my boyfriend Max and some of our buddies.
-I love painting, occasionally I'll post some of my art. I've yet to really get that going, but its something I plan to do a lot once the summer ends and I have more time to paint. So far i've only posted two works, and they can be viewed via the "art" tag in my journal.

Desperately Seeking Interesting Journals !

I've been out of LJ for about a year and have recently returned and need some new friends.
I'm 25 year old Bartender/Student, living on an island on Florida....originally from Chicago....My one true love!
I update and comment daily~ mostly about random happenings in my life, the news, or this crazy place I live...
You see it all here. I'm big on reader participation, because I want to know all about my friends.
People fascinate me, so I'm always asking for opinions and viewpoints, and sometimes what kind of Ben and Jerry's ice would you create....stupid shit like that.
I try to keep things interesting. You won't find 10 paragraph updates taking you play by play through my day,
So I don't really want to find that in your journal either.
Other than that I have no requirements on who I add...just let me know if you do add me.

i'm tessa and i'm fifteen.
