running ragged [26 Jul 2008|08:42pm] emeraldfaith [ mood | exhausted ] [ music | Ancient Ink ] I am sitting here trying to concentrate and my father had a karaoke show of some sort blaring through the house. I firmly believe the inventor of the karaoke machine has a special place reserved in hell just for him with a karaoke machine, Britney Spears, and Ho Chow, or what ever the oriental guy from American Idol's name was. And the creator of AI. I've see three episodes and that was three too many. Let's see, where was I. Monday I had my first positioning test. Tuesday I had an Imaging test and a Patient care test, Wednesday was a Positioning lab and Thursday was another Patient care test. Ernie gave us a take home test in Imaging and Intro both, and Thursday I turned in a paper for extra points on the questions I missed on my first Imaging test. Monday the 27th I have a Positioning test then Tuesday I have another Imaging test followed by an Intro test Wednesday and who knows when Tracy's next patient care test will be. I'm tired and I still have hours of work to do before I can even get to start studying what I have done plus all of the general house work to be done. I think I may take an hour long nap and get started again. post comment

bother [20 Jul 2008|08:52pm] emeraldfaith [ mood | confused ] [ music | Batman Begins ] I cleaned and rearranged my desk computer tower and monitor Friday. I should be ashamed. The dirt was something like 1/2 and inch thick on the vent. Yesterday my mouse which has been dying a slow death bit it when I dumped a full glass of Cherry coke on it. Well maybe not bit it, I can still use it I just can't highlight, cut or paste and the roller ball doesn't work. I have an Imaging test Monday that I haven't studied near enough for. I need brain food. I think I'll go to McDonald's and pick something up. Grease fat and empty calories. Yum. 4 comments|post comment

It was a ten hour drive, but it actually feels worth it. I have to wear a wristband (think "Livestrong") with the name of the resort to walk around. LAME. If you're not reading anything right now, what was the last book you read? I just read Life of Pi on the car ride here. REPEATEDLY. -*- Friday Fun 1. What browser do you use and why do you like it? Firefox. If I need to use something else, I'll use Safari. IE is for emergencies only. 2. Some people let it all hang out on their blog, while others keep it light, and still others fall somewhere in between. Where does your blog fall in that? I only let it all hang out sometimes. When I'm upset, I usually don't feel like blogging. 3. A lot of people have themed blog like a deployment blog or a crafty blog or one just for memes (like Friday Fun!). What about yours? Do you maintain more than one blog? I have more than one, but I only update one at a time, and I definitely don't have ones for different purposes. Unless you count the music sharing blog and character/ship themed ones I maintain. 4. I like to play online games, like the ones found at Yahoo Games. Do you play any like that? Share some links!!
