It's been a while now since I bought my ticket to the Sydney show so my question is: were all tickets sold as 'ezyTickets' or were we given an option between these and mail-delivered tickets? I'm terribly sorry if this is a real stupid question, but I was wondering if someone could link me to some 'official' lyrics? Do they even exist? Because for some songs there seems to be a lot of different versions around, with only minor differences but still, i'd like to know exactly what Paul is singing.

I bought the 'special' edition today from Best Buy (I don't really know if it's exclusive to there or what) but I thought I'd let you all know what's in it before you decide to get it!

Um, basically the case is nicer.. not plastic but black cardboardish with "INTERPOL" and "OUR LOVE TO ADMIRE" shiny embossed on the front... Really, a nice alternative for those who hate the lions and gazelles :D It's a pretty, pretty case.
However, the 'booklet' advertised is just more animal photos by the same photographer... no liner notes or band photogs at all. Disappointment!

It also came with a poster.... here's a crappy image of it...

I think it's pretty sharp, but maybe that's just because it matches my room's color scheme...

Um, so I dunno if it was worth the ten extra dollars (I paid $21.59 with tax) but I'm definitely happy with the album, musically :) Happy Interpol Day!

the cover design surprised me.
i was expecting something along the lines of previous colour schemes and simplicity tinted by contemporary accents.
this is just very very elaborate.
im not much of a national geographic/discovery channel theme patron.
but nonetheless i want the album in my hands NOW

Our Love to Admire is the third studio album by New York-based post-punk band Interpol, to be released on July 10, 2007 on Capitol Records. The album will be the group's first to be released on a major label, following the release of their debut and follow-up albums on the independent label Matador Records. There were several unconfirmed rumors that the new album would be titled Moderation. However, guitarist Daniel Kessler specifically refuted this rumor in a recent NME interview, jokingly saying, "Moderation'? Really? That sounds terrible...small doses!" On 25 April 2007, that band officially announced the album title as Our Love to Admire as well as the track listing. The first single off the new album, "The Heinrich Maneuver", will be released on 7 May 2007.

did anyone go to the coachella festival in indio, ca? i specifically went to see INTERPOL and i must say they left me wanting more....the stage was so damn dark it was hard to take pics....they were awesome tho....and carlos d had poofy curly hair with a wierd mustache....haha...
