♥ This community's intention is for support, and support only. We do not "encourage" eating disorders, however, we feel it is important to have support and comfort if you already do have disorded eating. ♥
Diagnosis for Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified
1. All of the criteria for Anorexia Nervosa are met except that the individual has regular menses.
2. All of the criteria for Anorexia Nervosa are met except that, despite significant weight loss, the individual's current weight is in the normal range.
3. All of the criteria for Bulimia Nervosa are met except that the binge Eating and inappropriate compensatory mechanisms occur at a frequency of less than twice a week or for a duration of less than 3 months.
4. The regular use of inappropriate compensatory behavior by an individual normal body weight after eating small amounts of food (e.g. self-induced vomiting after the consumption of two cookies).
5. Repeatedly chewing and spitting out, but not swallowing, large amounts of food.
6. Binge-eating disorder: recurrent episodes of binge eating in the absence of the regular use of inappropriate compensatory behaviors characteristic of Bulimia Nervosa
7. This term could also be used for someone who has just recovered from anorexia or bulimia.

♥ Picture posts are allowed and welcome. We love seeing progress pics, or just simply putting a face to a name. But if you do post pictures - do it behind a cut. If you don't know how, then ask.
♥ No "thinspiration" pictures of celebrities or models. We've seen enough, and if you really feel the need to post them, do so in your own journal.
♥ All posts including food/menus must be placed under a cut - we do not want to trigger our members.
