Hi everyone!
I was lucky enough to grab a few pictures at show a while back in Winston-Salem. However, as soon as the show was over, Conor fled without saying a word. It was my first BE show, and I was pretty bummed because I was looking forward to meeting him afterwords (just like any other crazed fan =p). Which leads me to wonder, has anyone actually met him after a show? Or have a story about meeting him in general?
I'm just curious, being the nosy person that I am.

Andddd does anyone know what he's been up to lately? I've been completely tuned out of everything, and would love to hear some news :)

I always end up posting about the lyrics that have been hitting me the hardest lately.

In "No Lies, Just Love" this is one of my favorite parts,

Hey! Im new to this community and Ive never met Conor, but if any of you guys have any stories about meeting or seeing Bright Eyes and the expirience it would be really cool if you told me about it! :DD. A friend of mine used to hang out with Feist all the time and he met Conor two different times at two different parties and said he was really one of the most happy, smart and funny people he had ever met. But thats the ONLY story someone has ever told me about meeting him. I would really like to hear more! :DD

Bright Eyes – Cassadaga

Ever join a conversation and get the feeling that they are making fun of you but you really can’t be sure? Maybe with some odd glances and uncomfortable smiles. That’s how I feel when I listen to this album. I get that odd sense that Conor Oberst is putting Me down, and of all the people who have lived on your planet, I am the one person you don’t want on your bad side. I have loved the music of Bright Eyes ever since I first heard his cracking shrieks about lovers being tied together and thrown into the ocean. As people threw out the Dylan comparisons, I agreed, and for a while, even felt that Conor was acting a better Dylan that Dylan. However, this album is the first time I’ve seen cracks in the folk machine. Plus, I get the feeling Conor is mad about Me for something, which sucks because I love the guy.

this has nothing to do with bright eyes. rather, it has to do with mail and the u.s. lol. i'm in canada and i ordered something from the u.s. it said that it'll take 10-14 days to get to me. since it seems like a lot of people here order a lot of stuff online, i was wondering how accurate this is. can i expect my parcel any earlier than the time said. i'm ordering from hot topic btw since we don't have on here. merci!
