Потом египетская феминистка аль-Talawi пишет обращение в Парламент с призывом не допустить "маргинализации законодательства", "защитим права женщин" , в качестве "примера" приводит фетвы марокканского муллы, потом некий другой либерал в телешоу поднимает вопрос "прощального секса" под соусом "исламисты уже в парламенте" ... в общем вся эта дрянь - внутриполитическая каша Египта, где "братство" прошло в парламент, а... либерашки они и в Африке везде либерашки. There probably aren't too many people on this comm anymore, but this discovery was just too awesome not to share. I was looking for an unreleased EP of another band earlier and happened to stumble across this website that has this great library of rare mostly unreleased music. I'm looking for Live Bootlegs or any live track(s) of them (Accepance obvious) (except the ones included in Black Lines To Battlefields EP, AOL Sessions 2005 and Undone EP)

Acceptance's guitarist Christian has joined the Tooth and Nail band Anberlin =)! It isn't listed on any websites yet, but I saw them play last night and he was there, and he is also in this video blog with them. It's so cool that the two bands have sort of, in a way, merged, because I fell in love with Acceptance when I saw them play with Anberlin back in 2005. =)

i thought i should get this out, just in case anyone else needs to say something similar...
i'm really upset about acceptance breaking up.
i've loved them ever since my friend made me a mixtape in august, 2004 with permanent on it. that same month, my mother died. and then phantoms came out two days before her first birthday she wasn't here for. i've always had them really close to my heart, and felt amazing everytime i listened to them. i know people say this all the time about cds, and i hate it when they do and never believe them, but i think i truly did play my phantoms cd to death. it no longer plays past half of so contagiously, so i've had to make a burnt copy. phantoms always takes me back to that spring and reminds of how much it helped me get through it.
...and the main reason i am upset about acceptance no longer being together, is that i never got to see them. i do live in atlanta, and i have had around seven oppurtunities since i found out about them... but all but one time, i couldn't go. something always came up, or it always faded to the back of my mind. so finally, i bought tickets to panic at the disco, the academy is, and acceptance for february 16th. when i got there, panic came on stage and announced that acceptance would not be playing that night. i left shortly after... i didn't even care to see the academy is who had been my favorite band at the time... in my heart, i was there for acceptance.
what i can't seem to understand is the reason behind all of this. i don't understand the meaning in me always missing acceptance and then acceptance missing me. and now, they are no more. (or at least, as they were.) i hate thinking about it because everytime i do, my heart just sinks in my stomach. no one seems to understand how i can feel this way... and i don't see why they can't. i figured that anyone reading this community would be best to relate or see where i'm coming from.
anyway, i just thought i'd share my story/disappointment... in case anyone else wanted to express the same.
