i was wondering if anyone had "hikari no willpower" that they would be willing to upload for me? i had the song YEARS ago when i was obsessed with trunks, and recently i've gotten back into DBZ, but the computer i had it on is long gone!! i can't seem to find it anywhere.

Is the ‘good old time’ gone forever for DBZ Yaoi fandom? With each passing month everyone now notice a steady decrease in activity. Are we the yaoi dinosaurs, condemned to extinction? Boxer & Rice thinks otherwise, and to prove we're still alive and kicking like any decent saiyajin, we're proud to announce our first Truhan Fanfic Contest with prizes.

Yes you read it well. Boxer & Rice will offer a black & white illustration of the winning story/ies done by the great Thundertori. Here's an illustration she’s already done for Dharma Serenity's story "Primal Urges".

We hope a lot of people will enter this contest. And without further ado here's the Truhan Fanfic Contest’s Rules.

Rule #1: The story/ies must be submitted before Sunday, 10th August 2008. They must be sent to Truhania@orange.fr in one of the following formats : .doc, .txt or .html

Rule #2: The story/ies must be mainly Truhan oriented (Gohan/Trunks, Gohan/Mirai Trunks, Mirai Gohan/Mirai Trunks). Threesomes, love triangles, and multiples pairings are allowed (for example it can be Gohan/Trunks and other pairing/s of choice). Bisexual stories are also welcomed (for example Trunks/Gohan/Female Character of choice).

However Truhan must represent at least 75% of the story (sorry no cameo appearance for Truhan).

Also you can't break Truhan apart (unless you’re going for a deathfic). You can't start the story with Gohan/Trunks and end it as a Gohan/Other Character and Other Character/Trunks. Although it's ok to start it as Gohan/Trunks and end it as Gohan/Trunks/Other Character. Deathfic

Rule #3: Each story submitted must count at least 4000 words.

Rule #4: Only completed stories can be submitted.

Rule #5: Each story has to be new and can't be posted anywhere else till 11th August 2008.

Indecisive avowal: a Trunks/Pan fan fiction

Chapter 1: A sunset amour

The cool wind brushed over her face. The day was bright and clear, and the ideal day to get out of school. Her long hair swished along with the breeze, her athletic, slim fifteen year old figure clothed in a lavender long sleeved turtle neck, and a jade skirt.

‘Dad,’ she muttered under her breath, ‘come quickly!’ If there was something Pan didn’t like, it was getting late to go home-especially on a special day, such as this. School was closing for the summer, and the exams had just finished. She looked at her watch. Three forty. Just when she was about to curse under her breath, her cell phone rang. Pan reached inside her back pack, and extracted the white cellular phone, from which a loud rock was erupting. She clicked on the receive button, and held the phone close to her ear.

‘Honey?’ a deep voice, which Pan instantly recognized as her father’s, said through the phone.

‘Dad?’ she replied.

‘Honey, I’m sorry, but I have a bit of urgency at work, Goten will pick you up,’ Gohan said, ‘just take care of yourself, OK, honey? And Mom said that she was coming a bit late today, and that the dinner’s in the microwave. Take care, Pan. Bye.’ And he kept the phone. Pan heaved a sigh and put her cell back into her back pack. Her twenty six year old uncle would be late anyway.

It’ll be night when he comes, she thought hopelessly, he’s there flirting probably.

Goten was always with Bura, but he was very infatuated with girls, no telling that he’d even escort Marron.

But Bura will give him a reminder for life, she smirked. A motor bike geared up, and stopped in front of her.

Pan looked forward, and to her surprise, saw Goten, her twenty six year old uncle, donning a navy blue sleeveless shirt, with ‘I rock!’ embedded on the material, and a pair of denims. Relief flooded in her heart, and Pan got up, smiling.

‘I never thought you’d come this early,’ she smiled coyly, as she got up on the seat in the motor bike. Goten turned back and smiled.

‘Bura was away,’ he replied.

‘And?’ Pan pressed on, still smiling. She loved playing with her uncle.

‘Gohan ordered me to take you home, and he promised me a favor in return, if I brought you safely, and quickly,’ was her uncle’s shy reply. Pan burst out laughing.

‘Let’s go on,’ she said, bracing herself. Goten geared up the engines, and Pan was racing with the wind.

Good bye school, she thought, as she laughed, hello freedom!

The door slid open, as Pan verified her identity on the DNA scanner, affixed to the door. She climbed the stairs to her room. It was messy, as always: books strewn over her table, her clothes everywhere, and her bed lay unmade. She headed to her table, and looked at a small photograph, of her grandpa, Goku, who sported an extremely goofy smile. On her right stood her mom, eating a large slice of Chi-Chi’s homemade blue berry pie. Her dad, Gohan, was talking with Eighteen, and- Pan’s black eyes drifted to the boy who was holding her. She had been only 3 then, and about to stumble off, while trying to jump. Trunks, she thought, her heart filling with hope and love. The silver haired, handsome youth was carrying her, laughing at her action of trying to desperately catch a butterfly. It was hard to believe that they were having such a relationship-without her dad knowing.

A note lay on her table. Curious, Pan opened it: it smelt of rose and the writing there was enough to lift her spirits higher. It read:

Meet me under the willow tree at 6 o’clock, at South Hyde Park.

A date! Pan thought, smiling widely, And there was only one person who would have sent her this.

Trunks! She thought joyfully, and was instantly carried back to the day that Trunks had kissed her: and the thrill she had found.

She looked down at her watch. Three fifteen. She had loads of time, and she wanted the time to run fast, until 6 o’clock. Her best friend, namely Bura, was quite astonished of the relationship between her brother and her best friend, when an exhausted Pan arrived at her door step.

She’d be delighted, Pan thought, joyfully, her inside jittery with excitement. This was the first time anyone had asked her out: and this was her first date with Trunks. Instantly, Pan jumped on her computer and went online. Surprisingly, Bura was online at the same time.

Dragonaballzadventuregirl: Hey, Bura.

Fashionmanic: Hey, Pan. So, school over?

Dragonballzadventuregirl: Yeah, and I’m relieved. How ‘bout you?

Fashionmanic: Yeah, it finished. And dad’s going to take me shopping now.

Argh, Pan thought, Vegeta’s taking her off somewhere. They’ll be back with the whole shopping mall at the back seat of their sedan. However, she promptly replied:

Dragonballzadventuregirl: When are you going?

Fashionmanic: In another half an hour. Why did you come online? I didn’t think you would, I thought you’d be off with Goku. That’s what you mainly do, after school closes.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: Yeah, but you won’t believe what I found lying on me bed when I came home!!!!!

Fashionmanic: Let me guess: a note from my purple haired brother?

How did she know? Pan asked herself.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: How did you know?

Fashionmanic: I’m not stupid, you know. The only reason that you would yell like that is when you found something great. And since about a week ago, the only thing that has been making you like this is my brother. Elementary.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: I didn’t yell.

Fashionmanic: You used a lot of punctuation marks, and online, that’s just yelling.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: Uh-huh. Anyway, where’s Trunks now?

Fashionmanic: I really don’t know. Neither do I care. He must be doing something with that sectary of his.

Pan panicked. What if she just dumped her, and he was really with her sectary? She’d

die if that happened.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: What Sectary?

Fashionmanic: It’s nothing. As much as you’re to him, my brother’s not going to deviate from you. At least, not until he’s at least planted about 50 kisses. Besides, that sectary is nothing compared to you.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: Well OK. Can you give me some tips as to what to wear?

Fashionmanic: Well, I’d recommend something revealing: a short, but not micro-mini, blue skirt, and for your top: I guess a long sleeved turtle neck would do. Light blue.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: for my hair?

Fashionmanic: I’ll tell you something. How about you come shopping with me?

Dragonballzadventuregirl: Uhm, will your dad like it?

Fashionmanic: he won’t care. I’ll just get cash from mom. Then it’ll be private. Just us two.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: OK, sure. Hey, where were you the last hour?

Fashionmanic: I was out shopping for shoes with Dad.

Right, that’s why Goten came off, Pan thought, as she smiled, he doesn’t want to be done with Vegeta.

Though Goten was strong, if Vegeta ever heard about Bura and him, he (Vegeta) was likely to transform to Super Saiyajin level 3, and Pan was sure that her uncle had taken the wise descion of not being fried and sent to the next dimension with the mammoth force of a big bang.

Dragonballzadventuregirl: Ok, then cya later.

Fashionmanic: OK.

And then, Bura was off. Pan exhaled, relief flooding over her. Bura would know the right thing to wear, and so she (Pan) would not be embarrassed to death when she came out looking like the aftermath of a thunder storm.

Pan slumped on her bed. The day had been long and tiring, she’d toured all around looking for the right clothes with Bura, who insisted they go to every clothes store. Finally, they’d come up with the perfect match: a soft, clinging, light blue blouse, and a matching skirt. And Bura had made her do a whole hair care marathon, and Pan came out with her hair smelling like a garden full of roses, and her hair glowing like a midnight sky. Pan was sure she’d look alright, but she couldn’t help having doubts: would Trunks cheat on her? She was already in love with him, and if he just dropped her, she’d kill herself. Everything Pan had heard of Trunks was that he was a fast guy on girls: if her father knew about this, she’d be grounded for eternity. She would never have cheated on Trunks, but would he?

Help needed : Which Truhan stories should be illustrated

Hi,

I'd like your opinion. As you probably noticed I've started commissioning stories illustrations for my TrunksxGohan website.

So I wondered if there was stories which should be illustrated.

The rules are the following.

#1 It has to be already archived on Boxer & Rice (http://gohanxtrunks.net)
#2 It has to have some Truhan in the scene selected. Other characters can be in the scene though.
#3 The scene selected must be formated like this (it's for helping the artist who'll illustrate it and who won't have time to read the whole story).

Example :

Illustration for “Feeding the Flames” by Juuchan (Mirai Gohan/Mirai Trunks)

Character’s Description:

Mirai Gohan: About 23, both arms, no scar on face future version
Trunks: About 15, short hair, future version, has regrown tail

Summary: After Trunks going into heat, Gohan tries to find where his feelings for his younger student lay without crossing the line, just as Trunks stalks his affections with unrelenting

Bedroom Scene:

When Gohan woke, he simply lay there with his eyes closed, feeling perfectly relaxed and comfortable, with a strange contentment flowing through him. He was lying mostly on his side, and slowly became conscious of the body next to him, their limbs wrapped around each other. As he opened his eyes, the first things Gohan noticed were pale lavender hair that shifted slightly with his every exhalation, and the smooth, tanned skin of Trunks' neck and back. Trunks' head was nestled against his neck and shoulder, body pressed close against him and one wrapped around Gohan's ribcage. One of his own arms was wrapped around Trunks' torso, holding him in place, and the other was thrown across his hips.

I thought this could interest some people here. I'm not the one doing this contest, but I'll archive its prize on my website.

TypoDemon is doing a contest. He wants to do a Gohan/Trunks doujinshi (or any other truhan variety) but he needs a good and well rounded script for it. TypoDemon will pick the best script submitted and turn it in a dj.

So I hope the writers here will submit a script. Now I'm letting TypoDemon talk.

Well as some of you TruHan fans know, http://gohanxtrunks.net has been archiving and carefully translating stuff from that Dragon Ball pairing for a very long time now. And personally I needed (and need) to get back into drawing. So what better way than doujinshi.

Here's the beat:
Contest Begins: APRIL 3RD (Today xD)
Contest ENDS: . ...uh. o_o Haven't thought about that. More than 2 weeks though.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: a well rounded script/short story (I don't care if it's yaoi or not, xD I won't be the one deciding in the long run) pertaining to the pairing of "Trunks" and "Gohan" from Dragon Ball Z. It doesnt matter who the seme/uke is. And in fact, if you go off story line that's fine too. As long as the public here decides (Here being Y!G and Boxer/Rice) they like it, then that'll be their decision.

What I'm NOT looking for: Another pitchfork in the ass LOL excuse the pun. T_T please no Shota, I don't mind other people like it, XD; but I don't think I could bring myself to draw it. I don't mind cute inclinations of stuff @_@ but I'm already going to hell for liking Elricest lol please don't damn me further! LOL XDDD. Mind you if that's the kind of story you submit >.< and its chosen by the public @_@... then I have to grin and bare it.

How will it be judged?: If I have enough interest/scripts to compete with each other, I will put them up here for public viewing and link a poll to the name/author that it came from. The viewers will decide.

What's the prize?: I mentioned above but I thought I'd put it here. XD Your story gets taken and turned into a public doujinshi (I wont make money off of it =\) for all to view. Yes I WILL try my best and it wont be some scribbly little endeavor. Unless you as the author want it all chibi or something @_@, I mean its up to you guys, I'm basically the pencil to your ink.

How do I submit them?: I'd prefer they were on Y!Gallery. So I'll make a club thingy for it.

I know this might not be the best place to put this but eh, oh well....

Why Dragonball GT Sucks Dragon Balls....

It wasn't written by Toriyama. He wanted to spend more time with his family so he stopped DBZ, even when his people offered him more money. Since he refused, he agreed to sell the names and trademarks associated with DB/DBZ to a "group of fans" who wanted to write their own sequel. BAD FUCKING IDEA!

1. Kid Trunks grows up and he's not a fighter. That's impossible to imagine. Kid Trunks in DBZ was in love with the idea of becoming like his father, and there's no way in hell he would've stopped fighting. And he's extremely weak. Throughout the series, he fights maybe five or six times. And not even well. He always gets beat up. Fucking idiots!

2. Why on EARTH was it okay to make Goku a kid again? If we wanted to see him as a child throughout entire DBGT I would watch Dragonball, not some cheap imitation! I guess they've forgotten that Goku matured after his fight with Buu and was actually acting like an adult by the end of DBZ. It's NOT OKAY for them to completely discard that idea and go back to the imature, almost annoying version of kid Goku.

3. They're clearly running out of ideas. My stomach turns at the thought of "Silver Shenron" and the, what, 29809834th time Goku has to come along to save the day? Are you kidding me? Baby Vegeta was probably what pissed me off the most. Possessed-Vegeta has already been done, so think of something else! Having to search for dragonballs to get a stronger dragon? It's already been done! That's why this series is so fucking BORING to watch!

4. What Made This Ultimitely Suck: the absence of Gohan and Vegeta. The two most famous sagas of DBZ are the Saiyan saga and the Cell saga. The Saiyan saga features Vegeta in his most evil and badass. The Cell saga features Gohan's transformation into SSJ2. Clearly, fans LIKE Vegeta and Gohan and tuned in to SEE Vegeta and Gohan. Why oh why, you "fans", did you completely omit or make Vegeta and Gohan ridiculously weak?! That's just sacreligious!!!!

5. Don't make a boy's cartoon about a 14 year old girl. This isn't Sailor Moon or Sakura. Boys watch this and they demand certain amounts of blood, pain, sweat, and explosions. Yes, I understand that DB was about Goku, DBZ was about Gohan, and it's only natural that DBGT should be about Pan. But come on. I'm a kid myself and I could've written something better!

While I'm On the Topic, What Could Have Made DBGT Kick Ass!

1. Obviously, more action. For some reason, the "really really fast fighting" wasn't in DBGT. Perhaps it was too hard to animate? I don't know. But I would have them fight for much longer periods of time, like for the Saiyan or Cell sagas. It builds suspense that, by the end of it all, you're in tears while watching the final scene. (i.e. the defeat of Cell or Buu)

2. More Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks action. Dude, you have all of the surviving Saiyans at adult ages. How AWESOME would it have been to see them duke it out? Oh my God it would be amazing, no? I want to see Gohan and Goten fight. I want to see Trunks and Goten fight as adults. How hot. But nooooooooo. They're hardly ever mentioned, and that's bullshit.

3. DEFINITLY THOUSANDS of opportunities to get some girls watching DBGT. Let me think: Trunks is single. Goten could be single. Pan is single. Bra is single. Marron is single. Pan has a crush on Trunks. Bra and Goten are an attractive couple. Can we say TEEN DRAMA?! They could've gone so far with this! They barely touched on Pan and Trunks, but nothing was ever certain. They're at the perfect time to start falling in love!!!! Pan and Bra are friends; Trunks and Goten are friends. IT'S PRACTICALLY WRITTEN FOR YOU!!!

4. How cute would it have been to see all these families interact? Vegeta and Trunks being extremely overpretective of the youngest female in their house. I would love to watch Pan interact with her parents more; show how awesome of a father Gohan is. I mean, in DBZ you really get the sense that the two families were really close. Everyone watched the Cell games at the same time. Everyone experienced getting eaten by Buu together. They have parties and dances and BBQs and get-togethers in DBZ. Why didn't they explore this more?!?! Damn it!

Okay, Getting Over It. Things That Weren't Too Bad About DBGT:

1. I liked how SSJ4 was introduced. Apparently, there are 6 levels of Super Saiyen, but Goku and Vegeta were only able to reach SSJ4 in their lifetimes. To see them in weird leather pants and red fur was really, really disturbing (as if they were trying to make them hot...wtf?!....), but I like the idea of both Vegeta and Goku being equal in power by the end. That was nice.

2. I liked seeing Trunks at work. I thought it was really cute how whenever he'd walk through the office, all the women working for him would send him flowers or love-letters and blush as he walked by. I thought that was too funny. In the last episodes of DBZ, we see how Trunks deals with his good-looks. It's hilarious. Seeing it in DBGT with more detail was really nice too.

3. I liked seeing Vegeta interact with his daughter. You can tell they're really close when she's 4 years old, but it's cooler to see them interact when she's 16. She's the center of his universe, and my goodness does that make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. That part when they're driving together and those guys hit on her and he rips the guy's steering wheel out of the car was beyond hilarious. Vegeta would be over-protective!

4. I liked the music. Since DBZ was over by 1995 (woah!), it mainly has nothing but 80s music which isn't bad but eh. DBGT has of course much better music because it was written in the 90s. I'm talking about the japanese songs, by the way. I've only seen a couple of these episodes in English.

Okay, so now I'll just sum it up. DBGT sucks because Trunks doesn't meet my ridiculously high expectation for him. Can we say Marai Trunks anyone?! Trunks is nowhere NEAR as cool as Marai Trunks. What's that about?!?!!

And I'm done. =D

I don't really know if this out-of-topic or something, but since it's still Dragonball....

Does anyone have the full mp3 version of the songs: "Sabitsuita Machine Gun..."(The last GT ending theme) and "Can't You See" ? I've been looking for them ever since, and I haven't found any place where I could download them.

And is the song "Yume de Aru Youni" a Dragonball GT song? I have it in a CD given to me.
