Alright. Well, I'm straight edge, and have been for nearly 4 years. An older cousin of mine was going on 25 and was telling me about the "straight edge" movement when I was 12. I thought it sounded pretty smart, and looked into it. I said "Hey, I'm Straight Edge" to this day I haven't broken edge, but I'm not like those kids who feel the need to push it on to others or use it as a reason to do something stupid/hardcore. I do if for myself and my own goals. I'm not one to X up, though I respect people if they choose to. It was simply my choice for myself. Since I'm very goal oriented I want to attend Princeton, Columbia, or NYU, those aren't the easiest schools to get into, nor are they cheap. If I decided to abuse substances I doubt I'll be able to get where I want to be. But, that doesn't mean I ostracize my friends who choose to drink,smoke, or do other sorts of drugs, as long as your not completely wasted/high/whatever around me and it doesn't alter our relationship largely I am more than willing to hang out and have fun with you. I made the choice to be straight edge on my own, and after seeing what alcohol and drugs have done to my friends and people in my family I don't see myself breaking it anytime soon.And:

Sorry you got rejected, I probably would have said yes. I don't really like the straight edge movement. If your going to be drug free, that's your choice, I just don't see why you have to put a label on it. I do abstain from sex. It's not really written in stone that you should wait until marriage, it more that you should be in a very serious and mature relationship. I personally don't want to take the risk that come with sex, and what ever emotional bagage that could result from it. Well that's very good to hear. When you say that it isn't written in stone though, is anything about straight edge really written in stone? I mean, it should be an all or nothing kindof thing. It's not acceptible to say that you can have alcohol when it's a holiday, so why should it be acceptible to have sex before your married? Just my opinion.6 years ago

Believe me, I'll be the first to admit those aren't the best pictures. The issue is, my computer crashed when I got back from Germany and I have very few uploaded, and even fewer clears one. BUT, I do have these:This was a joke picture:
