Green Wing (Vikatikki) season 1 will be published with Finnish subtitles March 26th! € 24.95 at cdon.com.

I would send the link here but it won't show the actual page with that address. So you had better search green wing on cdon or somewhere else, whatever that somewhere be...:)

I don't know if the translations will be the same ones as in the version shown by YLE (Finnish equivalent of the BBC). I hope so because that's the reason I still haven't bought the DVD - I want Tuula Friman's fantastic translations. (As little as I would need them or watch the series with them, they are absolutely superb!)

And how good is Mark Heap on Lark Rise to Candleford?! He's somehow Statham-esque despite it being quite a different character!

The DVD of series 1 was released this week. Here is a review from the Sydney Morning Herald (click on the thumbnail):

Stephen Mangan and Mark Heap are in next week's episode of Miss Marple, which will be shown on the ABC at 8.30pm.

and series 1 is being repeated on UKTV (a pay TV channel) atm.

Series 2 Scriptbook

I emailed Titan Books (the publishers) yesterday asking what had happened to the Series 2 scriptbook and here's their response:

Thank you for your inquiry. I'm sorry to inform you that at this time Titan will not be going ahead with the publication of the second Green Wing Scriptbook.

Right, this is the longest shot in the history of long shots but I need your help. Aaaaaages ago, someone uploaded a zip. of loads of mp3s of quotes from the first series. I did have them on my computer but then they all got wiped and so now I don't have them. Have looked everywhere I can think of, but to no avail. If anyone's got these I would love you forever! So, as a 6th form student we get 'amazing interesting' goverment funded vids about University funding, especialy as legislation is aparently changing.

So today we got this vidio started and their on the screen was Ed Bryne the comedian, fantastic I thought. Then who apeared on screen in a meat suit? None other then Mark Heap!! I don't know how many other people will see this on here but what better way to start a drizzly thursday then have Mark Heap playing a man in a meat costume moan on about students! 'Baked Beans in a can, Beanie hats, Bean bags'
