I love these films. the characters are fantastically eccentric and very deadpan. plus, you get a nice dose of elvis. :))) downloads; lilo and stitch part 1 lilo and stitch part 2 stitch! the movie part 1 stitch! the movie part 2 join with hjsplit. stitch! the movie is the only disney sequel that I've liked. it's my sense of humor, I suppose. or maybe I am just so in love with the characters that I can stand it anyway. I find it funnier in swedish, but that's beside the point. THAT'S THE WAY TO GO YAMAPI; WHEN WOMEN CRY YOU CLOSE THE DOOR. who wrote that script? khgfkjha and I laughed at the grandma again. why do I find her so funny? seriously, my own grandma just died from dementia(well, stroke, but it's... oh nvm), I should not find it funny at all. :/ I've been painting the windows of the room I'm moving into, and dad put them up in the garage. so I've been painting and listening to the radio, and there is only one channel that doesn't annoy me until I think I'll explode, and that's the one playing ballads and slow songs. it's called 'calm favourites' (direct transl.). anyway, my brother comes out in the garage, stares at me for a while, then he goes: "so I hear you found gay FM." -_____________- and later I saw the what'sitreallycalled captain nemo book (en världsomsegling under havet) on the counter, so. me: "you're reading about captain nemo?" bro: "yeah. captain emo's crew bled to death." lol, the parents didn't get that one. 8 comments|post comment

[25 Aug 2008|10:33pm] grunhilda [ mood | bouncy ] the other day we had people over. my brother and his friend and my bff (she's friends with my brother and... she used to have a crush on him >.>) disappeared down to the cellar where my brother has his... lounge or whatever. anyway, my dad went down to get something, wine maybe. uhm. bff; *clinging on brother* brother; *picking his nose and leaning on the chair in front of the computer where his friend sits* brother's friend; *happily using the computer* dad; "so you're down here." brother; "he's downloading porn. tell him off." lol, dad left. was woken today by a phone call, the daughter of the couple who tagged along when my parents were getting married in NY (and got married as well). we're sort of friends. um. but she was asking me where my mum was. erg. "I wanted to have lunch with her. because I'm in town... but. you're fine too." gee, thanks. :P I couldn't leave the house because I'm supposed to be painting the window in the small room downstairs, and. heh. burglars can get through a thin sheet of plastic. >.> and then I listened to her going on about her boyfriend for idk how long. then the signal broke and I was almost going back to sleep when she called again on another phone. yarr. but she's really nice. I like her. and. it feels like she doesn't have too many people to talk to. ): I just wish we could do something really friend-ish rather than just talk a few minutes at family gatherings because with just a short bit of time her love escapades are always in focus. and then I got up and tried to start painting the windows. only I never got to doing it, because HOMG, THE PREPARATIONS TAKE SO LONG. DDD: I've only had time to clean and sandpaper and put masking tape on. nom, nom, nom, pineapple. I almost ate a whole one jskgkljhsfgk >.> my tongue feels all prickly now. (fyi, exotic fruit in sweden(and some other parts of europe) is never as big as it should be. the importers blame it on the market. its not big enough for good proper-size fruit, apparently. I'm not sure how I like it, but she told us that it was only supposed to be around 1-2 pages, and I was going on to my third. I definitely could have written more, but, well, I didn't want to give her a five page paper. I like sitting in the library; its nice and cool and quiet, and I'm much more compelled to actually do work while I'm here, unlike when I'm in the dorm room. So yeah, now all I need to do is my comparative politics readings. I looooooove ending class really early. Maybe I'll take a walk somewhere later. Oh, and now I officially believe that my advisor is the coolest person on campus. He just is, lol. :D I'll be meeting with him every Monday after my Politics class, which is really nice, since I haven't been able to establish a real connection with any other faculty member at this point. I just want clubs to start so I'll have something else to do, lol. All this free time will make me get a little bored. I guess I'm just not used to actually relaxing at points while school is in session. Maybe I'll go to the gym today. Or I'll wait until tomorrow, haha. And I <3 my new college buddies. El Schedule and Philly fun [24 Aug 2008|01:23am] thegreatbl_sama [ mood | awake ] So, Philly was great today. Walked around with new college buddies, going to Borders, Wendy's and FYE, lol. The fabulous Elaine (aka - bluefirekitsune) graciously showed us where we were going so we didn't get lost, and so I love her even more for that. <333 Oh, and I met up with WALTERRRRR (aka - unit00_ayanami). <3333 He showed me his apartment/dorm, and I was jealous of it (and I love my room to begin with, lol). It was nice to hang out with him for a little bit before having to part again. What's good though is that his dorm is really close to where the train comes in to. :D We went to another FYE in the train station and I got a Dark Knight poster, but I need stuff to put it up with. Went back to the campus, sat around on the computer doing a whole lot of nothing when I said I was going to try and do work. Then went to a "candlelight" dinner, but I didn't like anything there, so I didn't really eat. Then went to a dance party which I thought was going to suck, but turned out to be OMGSOMUCHFUN. Lol. (And Tucker's awesome dance moves made it better, lol.) Left the party, walked around campus with Tucker, then went back, and then when the party officially ended, we walked around some more. Got back, took a shower, and got on the compy, lol. Oh, and I forgot: I bought my textbooks today. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. WTF? Here are my reasons why you've been cut (if you were): 1. We never talk anymore. Hell, I don't even know if I remember most of your names. Yes, I realize there are some people I didn't cut that I haven't spoken to, but there are reasons. As mean as that sounds. 2. I don't agree with 90% of your views on anything. This isn't the reason for everybody, only one or two, I think. 3. I don't read your journal anymore. I skip over it, or I skim. Sorry.
