• Do NOT say "ana" or "mia." Pet names for diseases are unnecessary and only make a mockery of these diseases.
• Do not say you are anorexic if you do not fit the diagnostic criteria. You can find the diagnostic criteria in the DSM IV about anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and ED-NOS. Just because you don't fit the criteria for "ana" by no means implies that you do not have a problem. ED-NOS is not any less of a disease. • No one is perfect, but please try to use proper spelling.
• DO NOT ASK FOR TIPS ON HOW TO PURGE OR LOSE WEIGHT FAST. IF YOU GET HARRASSED FOR THIS, WE WILL LET IT BE.
• It IS okay to ask how other people have lost their weight, but there is no "secret" to losing it. We all work very hard to get where we are so obviously you would have to, also.
