| Welcome to the 911 Art Makers community. This is a livejournal community for all members of the 911 board. Here, you will be able to post your art for everyone to see, as well as see the other members' arts. You will also be able to link your posts of art to anywhere on the web. So if you are a 911 board member, then join and begin posting your art. |
1. This community is not for everyone. You will not be able to join unless you are a member of the 911 board. You can however friend the community, so you can keep track of our updates through your friends page. If you're going to take art, then you must join. 2. To join, you need to apply at the link from the main page. Follow those instructions. 3. To be a maintainer of the community, you will need to get in contact with a current maintainer. 4. Be respectful of the art makers. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. 5. You must credit the maker if you are using any of the art. It doesn't matter where you use it, you must credit them. Some makers will have their own set of rules in their posts or at their personal LJs, you must follow their rules also. 6. Do not post all of your icons/headers/banners/wallpapers/etc in the main post. Have a couple teasers in the main post(but no banners that spread the page) and then use live journal cut to make a post with all of your arts. Contact another member or maintainer if you need help with this. You may also have a few teasers and instead of a live journal cut you can have a link to your personal journal where the art was posted. 7. Group as much art together as possible, so your posts can stay neat and organized. 8. Do not post personal entries. Each entry must include art. You may, however, link to your personal journal in the entry. To make sure this occurs, the LJ will have a few select moderators. 9. When you post your art, please put "maker: [insert name here]" in your tags. This will keep the tags list organized, and it will be easier to find arts by one specific maker. The maintainers/moderators are free to edit your tags to keep the tags organized. 10. Have fun :D |
After reading this post, you can select the applications think on the main page. From there, you will be take to a post. Comment the post with your name and a link to your profile on the 911 board. Then, click to join the community on the main page. If all checks out, your request to join will be approved. If you skip the comment page without contacting a maintainer, you will not be approved until you've done so. Maintainers: Cass Camilla Michaela Moderators: Cass Camilla Michaela If you would like to be a moderator, you will need to email any of the maintainers and apply. This job really doesn't come with extra features. You will be resposible for checking posts that are waiting to be approved, and approve posts that follow the requirements, that way the LJ doesn't get out of control with pointless posts.
