Let me share the latest news of top-40.org netlabel - the release of the new project: Sounds and images from Crete This netlabel release, distributed for free under Creative Commons (by-nc-nd 3.0), includes mp3-album (320 kbps) and two photo galleries. On the release page you'll find the full story in english and russian, short preview and various download options: all-in-one zip-archive (340 Mb), separate files (via archive.org) or browsing galleries online. With this album you'll be acoustically teleported to the sunny Greek island Crete, where we spent an unforgettable week in the summer of 2008. We tried really hard not only to make a report from our trip, but to reproduce the atmosphere of the amazing places, where we've been read the full story... PS. Instructor, San Bernardino Mountains Live your passion! Wake up every morning to the fresh scent of pine trees, a crisp chill in the air, and the opportunity to make thousands of new friends during the school year. As an Instructor, you will be both a counselor and teacher to fifth and sixth grade students at a residential Outdoor Science School. Live and work at one of five sites in the local San Bernardino mountains. Besides supervising students, you will lead star walks and night hikes, lead songs and games, and teach academic trails on life sciences, geology, and environmental studies. You will live on site from 10:00 a.m. Monday to 11:00 a.m. Friday, with varying time off throughout the week. Earn up to $428 per 5-day week to start. Room and board is provided during the work-week. A medical benefits package is also included. If you are energetic, flexible and creative and enjoy working with children in the outdoors, then this position is ideal. Teaching experience and science knowledge is desirable, but not necessary. 15 мая, четверг, 19.00 Sleepy Town Manufacture, moroza_knozova, Copy Cat Project IDM / techno-dub / ambient / easy listening Sleepy Town Manufacture (Нижний Новгород) Начав работать в таких музыкальных жанрах, как ambient и dub, группа пришла в итоге к более мягкому idm звучанию, и в начале 2000 года записала свой первый полноценный альбом Pitz1212. В дальнейшем альбомы STM выходили на таких лейблах как Zvezda, Shum, Cheburec и Monotonik. С 2005 года один из музыкантов - Александр Ананьев - начал активно сотрудничать с техно продюсером Unit 21. Совместно с ним он выпустил двухтрековый сплит-сингл Lain на лейбле Monotonik, отыграл несколько совместных концертов, а также записал два полноценных альбома, являющихся мягкой смесью techno-dub и ambient. moroza_knozova (Москва) За именем moroza_knozova стоит выпускник московской консерватории Георгий Стефанов. В феврале 2007 года вышел в свет дебютный релиз – японский интернет-лейбл Bump Foot выпустил ЕР под названием «1300000 Ice Dishes», а в конце того же года на electrosound.ru вышел и второй релиз проекта – мини-альбом «EPdva», удостоившийся лестных рецензий в прессе. Совмещение экспериментального саунд-дизайна и вполне традиционной мелодики оособенно эффектно выглядит на концертах. На сцене музыканты шустро управляются с компьютерами, грувбоксами, драм-машинами синтезаторами etc., то и дело выдавая длинные клавишные соло. В сегодняшнем активе moroza_knozova - множество клубных концертов, участие в фестивале «Электромеханика», концерт в питерском «Цоколе» и участие в международном фестивале в ГЦСИ. Copy Cat Project (Москва) Copy Cat Project - это нежная электроника с лёгким ароматом волшебства и ретро-футуризма. Композиции излучают детскую чистоту и невесомость и одновременно обладают глубиной и зрелостью. Идейный вдохновитель проекта Павел Поляков видит своей целью преумножение в мире красоты и гармонии. С 2004 года издаётся на лейбле "Лёгкие". В концертный состав входят ещё два музыканта: производитель футуристических звуков - Алексей и клавишник и программист - Андрей. Выступления коллектива сопровождаются завораживающим видеорядом из старинных научно-популярных и фантастических фильмов. Павел Поляков сотрудничал с Евгением Гришковцом и продолжает плодотворно сотрудничать с легендарной английской easy группой The Gentle People в качестве музыкального продюссера. don't buy mice from petco if you plan on keeping them as pets. i bought two a few months ago and they are both supposed to be females. well, one impregnated the other. so i have 15 baby mice i need to find homes for. i don't want to take them back to petco because i bought the parents for $1.99 each and someone is just going to buy them to feed to their reptile or snake. petsmart and petworld aren't willing to take them. they were just born a few days ago, so i've got some time. but let me know if you're interested! | | Monday, November 20th, 2006 | 7:42 am
