Hello, and welcome to Seven Snogs, yet another one of those addictive themed communities! ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} 30_kisses is what started these comms off in the first place, so you probably know how it goes already. It's basically just a challenge to incorporate a theme into each piece of fanfiction or fanart that you produce.Why only seven? Because it's a nice, easy number. There are challenge communities out there with as little as 15 themes and as many as 100. Unfortunately, it's rare to see people actually completing the whole set, due to lack of interest or time, so I figured it'd be more convenient to have a smaller list. That way, more people get to actually finish them up and no one is daunted by having to plough their way through something longer. What the heck is a snog? For anyone out there who happens to be unfamiliar with British slang (so that'll be most of the non-British people in the world), it's just another word for 'kiss'. It's not the stuff that comes out of your nose. Honest. |

| 1. JOIN THE COMMUNITY! Sounds obvious, I know, but a lot of people still forget to do it. 2. You may claim up to two couples at a time, each from different fandoms. Once you've been approved, those couples will be yours and yours alone until you've managed to complete your set of themes. Once you're done, they'll be put up for grabs again. 3. To request your couple, please respond to this post. Please also make sure to include the word 'request' in your subject header. Include the full names of each character as well as the series they belong in. Make sure to check the claims list beforehand, just to see if they've been taken already. 4. Try to post at least one theme every other month. It's really not that difficult, and there are only seven of them. Some couples are more popular than others, especially if they're from the larger fandoms, so it's only fair to free them up as soon as possible so that other people can take a shot at them. 5. If you find yourself struggling with your themes, however, and would like to drop your claim, please respond to this post. Likewise, if you've completed your claim and would like to put it back up for request, just leave a note behind at said post. 6. You can do the themes in whatever order you like, but each one must contain a snog in some way or form. It doesn't have to be the main focus of the story, so just interpret the idea as you wish. 7. You can request a pairing from any fandom. It doesn't necessarily have to be a manga or anime series. You can pick from movies, TV shows, books, and if you like, you can even choose to do a crossover pairing. Just state both fandoms for each character when you're making your claim. |

In the post itself, please include the following information: Title: Author: Fandom: Pairing: Rating: Warnings: Disclaimer: Anything else you wish to include (ie the status of the fic, whether it's a one-shot, a multi-parter, etc) is perfectly fine. Just be sure to label things appropriately, is all, and remember, lj cut is your friend. All ratings are acceptable, from G to NC-17.
