AboutWelcome! This is a fic challenge community like fanfic100, only with a much smaller challenge: the Seven Days of the Week.
This community is multi-fandom! We accept all ratings and genres, from G to NC-17, from romance to dark fiction. We ask that you write on your own, no teams or groups, please. Please look up our claims list here to see which pairings/characters are out there. It does not mean, however, that they are off limits to you, as we do allow multiple claims. *we ask that you stick with FICTIONAL characters ONLY*
Attention: if you are a MEMBER of this community, you can post even if your claim has not been added to the claim list yet.
To join the challenge, there are only a few things you have to do:
1) Join the community. Membership is moderated, which means we have to approve every new member. But don't worry, this is just to help us keep track of new applications ;)
2) Decide on a pairing/character focus. See the list of already claimed pairings/characters here.
Please do not apply for more than two pairings at once. As this is a SMALL challenge, you'll be able to finish quickly and once you have completed the challenge for one of them, feel free to apply for a new one.
3) Post a comment about your desired pairing(s) here. Please list 1)Character Name/Pairing 2)Fandom 3)Fandom type (TV, Movie, Comic, etc).
4) Post the challenge table in your own LJ and give us the link here.
5) Write your 7 fics and post them to this community. Please refer to the following header format when posting your writings and remember to include warnings:

Author's Notes:
We do not care about the format of the story as long as it sticks to your chosen fandom and pairing, drabbles will do, as well as longer fics. Just keep in mind that the minimum word count is one hundred. You may use the prompts in whatever order you want.
6) Once you are done with all 7 fics, make a post about it here and you shall receive a shiny new button for your website or LJ to show the world that you successfully participated in the 7 Days Fan Fic Challenge. IF you are writing LONG fics.. you may post to the claim thread to get an extension. Don't be afraid to ask.
7) Deadline: the dreaded word... but really, we're giving you THREE WHOLE MONTHS to write seven little fics. A week before the end of your claim period we'll send you a message reminding you about the deadline.
