About
This is a community for fans of the Finnish band the 69 Eyes. The purpose of this community is graphic manipulation of photos relating to the band. So in other words, you can post regular pics just to share, or you can post icons, wallpapers, color bars, banners, and anything else you create relating to the 69 Eyes.
This community will be extremely laid-back. There are only a few basic rules of 'net-ettiquette' but they aren't very restrictive. If you have anything you would like to post here about the 69 Eyes, feel free to do so! This is ~your~ community, so have fun with it! ... what other graphics community will let you do that?!
RULES:
* Relative: All graphics must relate to the 69 Eyes.. somehow. Band members, lyrics, quotes, album covers... anything like that, is all welcome!
* LJ-Cut: Please use the lj-cut tag when posting several images. You can leave a few images above the tag for open view, but please use good judgement about size and quantity.
* Proper: If you take a graphic, please follower the creator's requests in regards to credits, comments, and usage.
* Be Nice: Be curteous to all members
* Kindergarten: Do not post images if you are not willing to share them! That's my #1 pet-peeve. This community is for sharing, not stroking your ego.
* Duh!: If you are posting someone else's icons, state that in your message and credit the maker(s). Also state if the items are up for grabs and where proper credit should be given. Don't claim or post items that you did not make without clearly stating they belong to someone else.
What You ~Can~ Do:
* Talk about the band: Not all posts must have an image. You can just talk about the band, discuss or post lyrics, or simply post un-edited pictures.
* Stuff: If you have any kind of image to share with us, you can put it here! There are many communities that will only allow certain pictures (either un-edited like the 'daily' communities, or altered-only like the 'icons' communities) but here you are allowed to post any picture you feel should be shown to the world! :) Backgrounds/wallpapers, icons, Friends Only banners, layouts, AIM icons, color bars, and web themes are welcome here!!!
* Giggle: Feel free to be a fangirl/fanboy here. Like I said, it's ~your~ community and it is about the 69 Eyes, afterall, so you should be allowed to post anything that has something to do with the band.
