Remember by Christina Georgina Rossetti
REMEMBER me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
Today I provide for thee your daily dose of poetry.
I wish Natasha Friend would publish a new book tomorrow. I would be indescribably happy.

Zegapain is quite an awesome series. Totally makes up for the pain of GunxSword and the other sucky stuff I've been watching.
A non-train wreck from Sunrise? :O True, I haven't reached the end yet, but damn is it good so far.
( Ramblings of seiyuu and characters and music )
I think I need to go make icons now. Because this series is just fantastic.
I tried putting a chocolate collar on a cake to find that the design I used for it was backwards. So tomorrow I'm going to attempt to pipe treple clefts backwards to set this cake. . . straight.
*~*
Kind of annoyed that my navigator didn't want to help me drive to St. Louis so I had to drop a cake comission. I really need to break my fear of driving on the highway by myself. I know where to start but I'm still afraid. I've faced things worse than the highway so it's rather silly.
This is interesting. I'm posting from meebo, and writing with a program called Tomboy, and reading a book in RL at the same time.
Well.
Has anyone ever read John le Carre, or Clive Barker? They're good reads.
( FRIDAY!! )
finalauraburst didn't happen, as you may have noticed. My browser was FREAKING OUT man. Whatever. Sorry other mods! Next week I'll be back to normal, so!

So, I just have some free time before I have to start volunteering and I thought I'd make a quick post. I'll post again later about my trip to Whitby. :)
Anyway, two slightly insane things have happened. First of all, it has been revealed that David Duchovny is a sex addict. I have no idea whether I should laugh my ass off uncontrollably or be disappointed. Mostly I find it fucking hilarious, but then feel guilty when I realize how callous I am. :P
Secondly, apparently the Bollywood movie Rock On is amazing. Some are even calling it one of the finest films of our time! If you didn't know, this is the same movie that stars Farhan Akhtar in a lead role. Yes, Farhan Akhtar the DIRECTOR. And Farhan SINGS. WTF? Who ever thought in a million years that this movie would be any good? And now I'm so confounded by my own bewilderment that I have a huge urge to see it. XD
Is it sad that of these two things, I don't know which is more unexpected? Seriously.
Oh universe, you continue to surprise and amuse me. Good job! :D

...I think I've fallen in love with Jane Austen. I've read Northanger Abbey, and have recently found a very battered Complete Works of Jane Austen in our library, which is by now more sellotape than paper thanks to it being bought by my father during his university days. Yes, old book is OLD. XD
Just started reading Pride and Predjudice- Mr. Darcy hasn't been introduced yet, though. Oh well...*readread*
So I've been playing around on NationStates these days, and I can't believe I didn't find out about it until a few weeks ago when it's been around since 2003.
Basics: You get your own country, you have (an) issue(s) to ponder every (week)day, and you watch how your decisions change your country. I like the simulation, and it's interesting to see the issues that come up.
Anyone want to play with me? :33 I have two countries on there; Liyi, my sensible country, and Renxin, my personal dictatorship. XD;;;; Let's own countries together! ♥

It's sort of strange to think that I haven't completed a fic since
yuletide. I've done some writing here and there, but I feel so unmotivated, as always. :( I wrote a ten-page outline for a troika dystopia, but after writing about 1000 words of the actual fic, I just stopped. The words are always in my mind, but I never want to write them down. Without deadlines, I'm hopeless, but with them I suck. Alas, life.
Now I want to write dumb(& not so dumb) Akatsuki university fic, because apparently those don't exist. :3333

So lol a few days ago a "health care policy advisor" for McCain told the Dallas Morning News that "nobody in the United States is technically uninsured, because everyone has access to hospital emergency rooms."
Then the McCain campaign told everyone that he's not actually an official campaign adviser, even though he apparently helped write McCain's health care plan.
'cause, you know, access to those ERs doesn't actually guarantee treatment. If the doctors don't consider one's condition as an emergency, well, one's out of luck. Sry suckas, see ya later.
I guess if I ever forget that people are stupid, this'll remind me.
