Aboutthis is a friendly little community for (more or less) progressive, open-minded people who are participating in nanowrimo.
nanowrimo is National Novel Writing Month. the goal is to write 50,000 words between november 1 and november 30, the result is a short novel or some length. many people use this as a writing exercise to help them silence their inner critic. other's use it as a kick in the pants to start writing that novel they've been dreaming about for quite some time. and still other's just do it for some masochistic fun.
do: post as often as you like, be friendly, post anything you wish related to nanowrimo or writing, let the moderators know if you have any concerns or want to make any suggestions.
don't: be racist/transphobic/homophobic/sexist/xenophobic, post about non-writing topics, be a derisive jerk.
in general:
don't be a asshole.
do use the community to help you reach your goal of writing 50,000 words during the month of november!
