Hey, I know that some of these may look like similar to ones i've posted already but look closely, you might be pleasantly surprised at the diferences. As always these are non snagabble, but if ya want something lemme know and ya know..lemme know where to get really good pics  cause I only really have access to the new (2005 til now) series and what I've downloaded ep wise of the older stuff, or things that I come across by happy accident. Enjoy you all, I gots ta sleep.

 

I feel like I never contribute to fan communities, but I actually have something that might fit right in here!

I'm an elementary school teacher, and I play a game with my students that involves drawing a 'race track' on the board, and I use hand-drawn magnetic game pieces for their teams to race as they answer questions right.

( I really couldn't resist being a LITTLE geeky )

The funny thing is, even though Doctor Who airs on NHK, my kids are too young to watch it, so unlike the X-Wing, none of them know what a TARDIS is. In one of my classes, that team called themselves the "toilet team" for the duration of the game!

My first Doctor Who fanart. I'm OK at the whole drawing thing, but believe me I'm much more of a writer than an artist. So this is just for fun. (Also, the Master is the best thing in the Whoniverse.)

For pimpmytardis. Who wanted a portrait of the Third Doctor with his girls, and if possible, UNIT too.

So I had this great idea that would have worked really well if I were a proper artist.

Instead The Pertwee Era Gang Show hasn't come out quite how I hoped.
WARNING: this is a pic thats drawn over A3 and scanned in 2 halves! And the sense of perspective is off by quite a bit.


I should have noticed in the WIP that it wasn't right (also an A3 scan)

Consequently, I'm going to try again, and something a little more traditional if I can

In this 45th year I was sort of expecting to draw more legacy art I have to admit.
So for once, this challenge was actually created with me knowing what iI wanted to draw:

It was only once I scanned the pic did I realise it must have slid on the table a bit. So apologies for making his set wonky

I'm a newbie, I've never posted any of my drawings here... well... there's a first time for everything ;)

.... Anyway, just a little fanart I have drawn-- my very first idea for this year's Valentine (I fnished it this weekend, don't ask me why). Tenth Doctor (plus guest), no spoilers, worksafe.


My DW's OTP... is not Rose... Martha... Reinette (XD)... Not even Romana!  *gasp*

Feeling a little under the weather, so decided to do up an idea I've had for a while. It's a pseudo-tech wallpaper of the TARDIS; it's 1024x768, and not all that great, but still thought I'd unleash it on you. :D

there are challenges where i don't blame y'all for taking a backseat and this weeks was one of them.
as i mention occasionally i never really have an idea of what i may attemnpt myself but this time out i had 3 inspirations: an unused Pat mills story title 'Song of the Space Whale', a 6th Dr comic strip 'Polly the Glot' and the lack of a good marker pen.

Hey everyone. I'm new here. (Duh.)

Anyway, I suppose I should preface this by saying I am 20 different types of NOT a fine-art artist. It's not my thing. I can write, I can sing, I can act, I can dance, but other than being able to throw a mean pot, I can't draw or paint or any of that.

But when in the grips of a fandom, it's never stopped me before.

And you DID say that you welcome artists of all levels. Well, I'm of the "draws like an 8 year old" level.

So...

Here's some TARDIS love for you. Both are primarily oil pastels.

My mom has found that she enjoys producing quickie paintings of the TARDIS in unusual landscapes as "warm-up" exercises for her more "serious" paintings, and since some of them are really nifty, I asked if I could scan'n' post a few of them to LJ, and she agreed.  I figured folks here might get a kick out of them.  I've icon-ized the three images; icons are free for the ganking, credit my username since Mom doesn't have one.
