I know that this post should be done on the ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) 4h_mod account, but since it's not paid I cannot do polls on it. :(
It's time to decide if we want to continue to keep ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) the_four_houses open or not.
First off, I'd like to say that this game has been awesome. I know it sounds over dramatic, but in many ways it helped save my life, and those of you that know me will know that this is really true. I've met great friends, and the love of my life in this game so it's a fairly serious decision to close it or not.
The thing is, I feel like the game has run it's course. We have a second game open now, 4h_tng, and because of this we know the future of the characters in this game; their course is set. Also, at the other game we have many more OCs that we've put a lot of time in, and have more of an ability to make our own instead of being stuck in the rut that JKR has set for us in canon, there are years separating this game and the next and our characters have grown accordingly.
In my eyes, keeping this game alive means that we also run the risk of having our characters turn around and do something else (as we've seen happen time and time again when we've planned storylines). If something were to happen in this game it could change the whole dynamic over at TNG causing major plot problems and I don't think we should risk that.
To be fair to everyone, because this game is no longer just mine but OURS, I'm going to take a vote. Decide however you want (one vote per player), and whatever the majority decides will be the fate of the game. If we do decide to close it up, then we will have a large summary post about what happens to catch us up TNG, and so we have some closure here. If the vote is to keep it open, then we all need to make sure that we keep up to date on our posts.

As you have seen at the latest post at the_four_houses, the game has gone friends only.
I know that this might cause you problems if you are not part of the community. We are willing to allow you into our community to read, as we feel the gaming we are doing is entertaining and well written.
Please leave us a comment at this post and the moderators will take each person on a case by case. I hate to have to do it this way, but with the current climate we want to make sure that the people who are watching us are actually interested in the story that we are writing and not looking to be the next pioneers of censorship.
The moderators will look at your journal, if you are denied access to the community please see if the following could be a reason.
1. Your age was not public on your userinfo, or seemed to be falsified due to your journal entries. This game has adult content, and we insist that adults are who read our material.
2. Your journal is less than three months old.
3. Your journal has little or no content.
4. You still have the default layout and/or have nothing to very little in your userinfo?
5. You have few LJ friends.
6. You have few LJ comments.
7. Your interests have nothing to do with the game.

| STICKY: Pureblood Bloodlines |

With the fact that there are few families of Pureblood decent it is not possible that most children are pureblood, in reality many of them are Halfblood at best. I have made a list of families that are considered Pureblood in this game. Please be wary of this when you make your family histories.

If anyone of you are playing Pureblood characters please make sure that your family history has two of these names in it. Please be very cautious with some names...such as Dumbledore, as Albus is actually Halfblood but his father was a Pureblood. If someone is a Dumbledore Pureblood it will have to be a distant relative. If you have questions please feel free to contact me.

Hey guys. The moderators already know about this, but I figured for courtesy's sake I'd share it with the rest of the players.
I'm leaving for a two week family vacation on Friday and will only have limited Internet access. The house I'm staying at doesn't have a hookup and the only way I can get online is at an Internet cafe in the town, which I'll probably only visit a handful of times given how much of my time will be spent doing other family-oriented... stuff.
Then after that I'm going to be flying out to California to rove around with our mods, Tish and Alma, for about 10 days. We'll have access to the 'Net then, but we won't be as available as we usually would be. On this you can probably expect a more detailed post from Tish and/or Alma in the near future.
So... with my departure I'll be taking with me Blaise (ambizione_pura), Susan (ridmyselfofsin), Andromeda (seeingandromeda), Viviana (donnadellamorte), and Grim (snufferoflife). Just a heads up in case you had scenes that would require any of them. Tish is going to do her best at letting me know what I have to attend to, and I'll do what I can to still contribute. I'll be back to normal availability by the end of the month.
It's a lot of fun playing with everyone so I'm looking forward to resuming it properly after my vacations.

I have a debacle-
I need icons for Andromeda (yay!). Her PB is Toni Collette and there are nary a few that I've been able to find out there on the Interweb. I've made a few but I would like a few more. Can you guys help at all?
