About(Membership is closed to anyone under 18 years of age. If you would like to join, you must state your age visibly in your profile and state your age in this post. Alternatively, you can email us at through LJ. This is due to some of the submissions containing mature content. All other entries will be made available for general viewing.)
Our Mission Statement
This LJ was created for the sole purpose of hosting the Three Keys Discussion Group fanfiction exchange. It's open to all members of the discussion group.
Here's a few rules and regulations:
1. Submissions don't have to be perfect, but basic spelling and grammatical rules must be adhered to! Since Lorett is participating, you must either beta yourself to the best of your ability, or access Perfect Imagination (a database for betas).
2. Please stick to the prompts you have been assigned, but also have as much fun as possible with what you are given! This is a creative outlet, so let the ideas flow and go play!
3. If for some reason you cannot submit your fic by the due date, notify us immediately so we can talk alternatives!
4. All sign up forms must be emailed to Sayyida at: sayyidajaida@gmail.com. She will then distribute the requests as she sees fit. Preferences regarding ships and ratings will be taken into account.
5. All authors will remain anonymous. You will know who you will be writing for. You will not know who is writing for you! We want to make this as fun as possible, and the mystery adds a genuine element of surprise for the giftee!
6. If a writer experiences a dilemma or needs to ask a question, email the distributing moderator. He/She will act as middleman and ask the person whose request is regarded and get back to the writer in a timely fashion. Anonymity will be maintained.
7. If you are a member of the group and want to participate but don't possess an LJ account, feel free to email either Sayyida or Avari for/with a copy of the entry form. We'll take care of you!
8. All entries must be a minimum of 1000 words.
9. Participants must be 17 or older in order to be a part of the exchange.

Will We Be Voting for the Best of the Best?
No. We all know that our group contains several award winning authors, and in the end it would be hard to choose the best story. This is just an exchange for the Three Keys by the Three Keys, so after the stories post it will simply be "read and review". Show your love to your fellow members!

What do you want in your fic?: Be as brief as possible! Examples--genre, situational guides (like a pre-existing relationship between the two main characters, etc.)
One specific item that MUST be included!: We encourage participants to request one specific item/event to be included in their fic. It adds just a bit more of a challenge, and it will be fun to see how writers interpret the request!
What don’t you want in your fic? Again, brevity is urged. Examples: Angst, too much fluff, slash, swearing, rape, child abuse, etc.
What ratings can you write?
What ship(s) will you NOT write?The point of the exchange is to have fun, so be as open as possible. Examples: D/G, slash.
What (in general) will you NOT write?: Examples: rape, child abuse, fluff, etc.
