The purpose of TidbiT is to build a place here in LiveJournal for the new fanfic writers and general fans of 30 Seconds to Mars to share information.
Come over and get your questions answered. However big or small your question might be, or however many you have, step forward and ask! You’re free to ask anything you like, deep or trivial. Who are the members of the band? Do Jared’s guitars indeed have names? Who’s Solon? What color are Shannon’s eyes? – anything and everything beyond, between, and around those types of questions.
We embrace fanfiction and are open to the kinds of questions fic writers may be asking themselves. If you have an idea for a story, but you’re not sure if it would work – or maybe you want some corrections to the plotline, facts, etc. (Would Jared say this? What would Shannon do?) – feel free to come by and ask for opinions of others.
Everyone is also more than welcome to post their own experiences and pieces of knowledge without being asked – it isn’t all about questions, after all. |
The community has open membership, and any LJ registered member can post.
When you have something to say – a question to ask, or an experience to share – post a new entry for it.
Please make sure that the title of the post describes the content! Going over rows of “no subject” and “a question” isn’t really useful to anyone.
The Moderators will tag your posts, depending on what it’s about.
If you don’t get answered immediately, don’t worry. If you’re afraid your post got ignored, though, feel free to probe one of The Moderators (To Contact). Don’t post the same question a trillion times – it will just annoy people who might be working to find your desired answer! |
Do not post your fanfiction here (of course, if there is a good fic, you can promote it in case it responds to a question asked here, or otherwise contains some interesting information). In such a case, either post a link, or quote (also, asking the writer of the fic is polite).
Not all of us have been fans from year zero. Give credit to new writers and fans that take the effort to come over and ask to satiate their curiosity and need for information.
Sometimes the same question comes up more than once. Be patient, though; everyone knows how going over dozens and dozens of entries in archives is much harder than just coming up and asking again!
Don’t flame; don’t be mean. If you have nothing kind or supporting to say, remain silent. We support constructive criticism, not member abuse.

We are friendly towards slash and het. Everyone has a right for their opinions and preferences.
We don’t guarantee an answer that will satisfy you, since there are limits to the information to be had, and we’re all doing this just for fun.
This is mainly a 30 Seconds to Mars -focused community. Try to limit your question within the band (where the old members of the band are now belong to other communities – though that doesn’t mean such answers won’t be answered). Also, Jared’s acting-related questions should be directed somewhere else, but we won’t turn you away if it is something simple!
If your entry contains material/possible discussion not suitable for people of a certain age, rate it as Adult Concepts / Explicit Adult Content. Otherwise, our TidbiT is free to people of all ages. |
