Challenge #5: Rain
Your character is a small boy or girl looking out a window. Spend thirty minutes with his thoughts as he watches rain. Can be a gentle drizzle, a soaking rain, a hailstorm with wind and lightning - any type of rain will do, as long as your child is watching it and thinking about how the rain affects him.

First attempt at this.

Don't know how to post it.
Time: 25 min.

Sometimes days has a taste and odor, even a especial sound. As today. Ugly days Aunt Petunia called them, but I disagree, she don’t know about beauty, she knows a lot of things, but not about watching the rain outside of my window. As today. There is a especial smell around the house, like wet earth, it makes everything feel fresh. A pool of water has form in the garden, I like the little crowns that appears when the rainy drops hit the water.
Dudley will think I’m stupid, well, he also think so. He is not the kind of boy who will enjoy this. He has a lot of crayons and toys to play with, on rainy days I has toys too, the window and the figures in it. Strange fellows visit me. As to day. I could see a castle with giants, and elf’s, and creatures I can’t name. Uncle Vernon will hit me if he knows, but uncle Vernon can’t see, he never could. I now this fellow creatures are my friends, they whisper something when the rain drops fall, but I can’t get it. There is a promise there, a call. Some day I will follow them. Some day I will have friends, and toys, and I will live in place that is surround by silence, and would smell of wet earth. Some day, all day will be happy ones, beautiful ones. As today.
