Title: Heeey, Carrie
Author: 1angelette
Pairing: Randy x Carrie
Fandom: Harvest Moon
Rating: Teen, for mild language (Might be more PG/Everybody rated)
Disclaimer: I don't own where Randy and Carrie live, almost everybody they live with, or the general rules of where they live. That belongs to Marvelous Interactive. The last five letters of Carrie's name are property of Mr. Unimportant and his friends. The rest of Carrie, and all of Randy, and their friends, are mine.
(Note- This is one of those "continuity" things. As in, all of these are happening in the order of the themes, with a few exceptions. And, yes, I took liberties, mostly because once these characters walked into my head, Randy and Carrie looked far too compatible to be cousins. And I know that you haven't heard of either characters in the pairing (or Steve or Luke or Alexis or Lorraine) but who they are and what they look like and such is revealed slowly as the story progresses. And when I finally figure out how to make this post shrink down like everybody else's, I'll let you know.)

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, Carrie."
"Hi." Besides that word, she completely ignores Randy.
"Nice day, isn't it?"
"Yes. For summer." She's still staring at the long expanse of ocean, facing entirely away from him.
"What am I going to have to do to get your attention, 'Rie?" Randy doesn't know that he has it already, but damn Carrie if she'll tell him that.
"I don't know."
"Aha, but I do..." Now one purple spike brushes against Carrie's chin, and his chocolatey stare into hers, as he leans over and looks at her from upside-down.
"Nice try, playboy." With that, she scoots backward, but not anticipating the presence of Randy's legs, he stumbles, and falls, and his face mashes onto hers.
As much as Carrie likes to consider that Steve actually likes her and he's just biding his time until he's going to sweep her off her feet, he's never kissed her. Hell, nobody has ever kissed her. And, god, this feels good. So, she can't resist the slightest of winks as she lifts up Randy's head and gently pushes him back into a sitting position.
"Take it easy, hotshot." She whispers as she walks away, and Randy smirks.
"Yes! Got her to look at me. Steve owes me 10 bucks..."
