FAQ

Is this comm for sentai only? No! Admittedly, it is very sentai-centic (since I myself am mostly a fan of that) but tokusatsu of any genre is allowed. You can even claim American tokusatsu if you wish-- Power Rangers, VR Troopers, Masked Rider, etc..

Do I have to follow any particular order? No. Write whichever theme you feel like. Write one fic with all thirty themes, thirty fics with one theme each, or mix and match. The whole point of this comm is to help create tokusastu fic in general. If you do claim two things, you will be expected to used all the themes for each claim.

Do I need to turn something at a certain time or else I'll lose my claim? No.

What CAN I claim? There are three types of claims: series, character, and pairing. You can have two claims each, but they have to be from different fandoms (i.e. you can claim Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger general series and Ozu Tsubasa, but not Mahou Sentai Magiranger and Ozu Tsubasa). As for pairings, we do allow non-romantic ones along with romantic ones, but ask that you mention it's friendship in you claim. That way if someone wants to write a romantic pairing for the two, they can (this will be the only time two people claiming the same pairing will be allowed!). If you claim a character, you can write whatever pairings (or lack of) you feel like, just please don't focus on one in case somebody wants to claim that pair. For example, LJ user A could claim Ryu from Jetman and write Ryu/Kaori along with other pairings and gen fic as part of the challenge, but LJ user B could still sign up to write Ryu/Kaori exclusively.

How long does the fic have to be? The minimun length is 100 words.

Can I draw art along with/instead of writing fic? Yes. Just make sure it's fan art and not pictures of the actors/doujinshi (by that I mean scans or something gacked from a website, comics created by yourself are fine)/whatever. Other than that, the same rules apply to art as fiction.

Any particular format or style I need to follow? No. It's your fan work, do what you feel like. All that you need to do is include the theme you chose in said work.

Do you allow...?" We allow all pairings, genres, and kinks. However, RPS and explicit material featuring underage characters is not.

Anything really obvious you need to point out for the painfully stupid? DON'T PLAGARIZE, NO FLAMING, and please try to come up with new stuff instead of posting fics you've already written.
