Here's another somthing I finally got finished. It's called the Valentine's Day Dragon and as the title suggests it comes from a sketch I started last February. I found it again sitting around on my comp uncolored and I decided to touch it up. Quite frankly, it ended up being one of the best pieces I've ever done. Please check it out!

Yup! Done! I'm so proud of myself for actually finishing all 30 of my sketches in time. JUST in time, that is. XD Anyways, let's get to it.

I decided to use my android/robot/death machine character Bob and his friends/lovers as the focus of my sketches. He's a character I play in a game called Mage: The Ascension. I loves him much and there's no way that I have enough art of him. I decided to loosely use the 30_breathtakes prompt for my sketches. Watch out, some of these sketches are NOT SAFE FOR WORK! So, I heard about the 30 sketches challenge and thought that this would be an excellent way to get back on my artistic feet. I work(ed) three jobs back-to-back during the summer, and despite how much I've wanted to draw, I haven't had the time or inspiration to. I chose Charles, Orbit and clouds as my subjects, but every time I sat down to draw, I was either too tired, uninspired, or it came out rather crappily. My goal has since then changed to getting 30 of ANYTHING done, but I have a feeling even that won't be feasable...

Then again, this is just for fun and personal improvement, so I'll show you what I have done so far and maybe you guys can cheer me on to do more.

I haven't drawn much with these, but I am always looking to improve as I am not yet in an art school, so any and all advice is welcome. Please be civil about it, though. ;-)

(Oh yeah, my scanner is definitely busted, so in the mean time these were taken with a digital camera. Sorry about the quality! )

Some fantasy horse-like creatures I was trying to get down for design and such. I also started working on drawing bubbles in the upper right box, there.

Some Charles and Orbit. No, Orbie isn't orgasmic, I tried to draw him snarling-ish, but uh...failed.....miserably. :-/

My aunt commissioned me to make cartoony animal designs for a children's clothing line she's starting, so I made a few quick sample doodles here.

This one seems to have some trouble loading...anyways just drawing for fun on this one. I drew my friend's weiner dog on the bottom, ha.

Drawing I did while drunk...I tend to draw weird shit while drunk and then write whatever I'm thinking about. Don't look too deep into it, haha..

Experimenting with pastels, and working on some clouds.

Drew this at work, actually. This is my fave of the bunch. Charles on the bottom is facing away from the viewer (hence why he has no face, lol) and I outlined him in glittery gel-pens based on what fur color would be in that area. I plan on re-scanning this when I get the chance. The gryphon face on top was inspired by neogeen's drawing here (though not nearly as good. I didn't have a copy printed to reference from; I was going by memory).

4. In the snow
- After getting some motivation/inspiration from some music yeasterday...I just kinda went with it and ended up with this one. I've never seen Lu fully clothed -or- unable to see his collar for that matter. :/ It's weird. Cause part of Lu's "personality" or whatever; is that he never covers his mid-secton (lower chest to hips) and despite that, this looks nice. mmmmonacle <3

9. Body language
- Jeezus...it took me days to pull this off with some satisfaction. My mind wouldn't let me work on anyt other image until I got this idea out. It's not nearly how I wanted, but it'll suffice for now. Maybe I'll even go back and try again. :B I love breaking expectations with some of these.

This is just to catch up with my main journal, cause I tend to post them offset to each other. At the moment, I'm not feeling that well...and I'm now unable to slack off cause I have the same amount of sketches as the days that have passed by - so I'm just going to take it easy and hope the inspiration hits again.

- Also known as "I'm cutting-corners for the project again" D:!! It's from an OC session I had with a friend on her birthday, and she's a Lummyn fangirl...so yea.

Sadly, I've gotten to the point where I'm having to FORCE myself to work on this project...and correct me if I'm wrong - but that's completely contradicting against the original point of it!? So I'm just going to relax a bit and let the artistic energy flow or whatever and hope for the best, I suppose. I have inspiration yea, but not for this project. So I'm gonna work on that for now, maybe I'll get the groove back.
