Does anyone, by any chance, know where I can find mp3's of the commentaries from the season 1 dvd's? I'm only asking because there are NO special features on the region 2 release, which I have, and I want to hear what the commentaries have to say... because it's 30 Rock (and i'm nerdy).

Thanks for any help.

Also, i've just seen some scripts on eBay and I was wondering, if anyone's had past experience with stuff like this, if they are reliable, or probably even real?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/30-ROCK-TV-SCRIPT-BLIND-DATE-TINA-FEY-ALEC-BALDWIN_W0QQitemZ150275185057QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item150275185057
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/30-ROCK-TV-SCRIPT-HEAD-AND-HAIR-ALEC-BALDWIN-TINA-FEY_W0QQitemZ360073752619QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item360073752619

Tina's speech at the TCA

This was her acceptance speech for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Comedy award:

I want to thank everyone involved in the Television Critics Association, not just for this award but for your very very generous support of 30 Rock. ... Thank you to you guys for making 30 Rock the most successful cable show on broadcast television. [laughter] Oh, it's a great time to be on broadcast television, isn't it? It's exciting! It's like being in vaudeville in the '60s! [laughter] We're thinking of actually changing the name of the show to Ratings-Challenged 30 Rock, just to take some of the power out of it. It's like taking back the N-word; we're gonna do it. It might make Elisabeth Hasselbeck cry, but we're gonna do it. [laughter]

But in spite of the weird state of our industry, there are some amazing things going on on television right now, which is why I feel very honored to be in this category with Christina and Alec and Stephen Colbert and Mr. Wise, who I don't know personally but who is amazing. Also I find it — I have to say I find it very exciting that at these awards, this category is not separated by gender. Because it doesn't really need to be. It's not weight-lifting. [laughter] You know what else is? Uh, professional billiards. [laughter] Why is that, uh, separated? [laughs]

Source

Her acceptance speech for Outstanding Comedy had a reference to Bosom Buddies and how it was appointment television for her. Me thinks she might try to get Tom Hanks (who was present at the ceremony) to guest star next season.

Who would you guys like to see guest-starring? /lame attempt at trying to start a discussion

Tracy Morgan on the SciFi channel?!

I'm watching NBC and they just had a commercial for "Scare Tactics with Tracy Morgan" on the Sci-Fi channel.

http://www.scifi.com/scaretactics/

The commercial made me feel like I was watching 30 Rock....as in, it seemed too bizarre to be REAL. Tracy says something like "Scaring people is funny!" Oh man, I wish I had a tolerance for this sort of stuff because I'm sure while it may be a little scary (what I don't like), I'm sure it has the potential to be hilarious. I mean, of all people, they chose Tracy? Haha!

Emmy Top 10 Acting Finalists: No Terry O'Quinn, No Teri Hatcher

On Thursday the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the top 10 finalists for this year's Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama and Comedy Series. Now, though ATAS isn't talking, Gold Derby's Emmy guru Tom O'Neil is slowly but surely getting his hands on the lists for the acting categories. In the world of TV awards shows, this is akin to O'Neil scoring 50-yard-line tickets to the Super Bowl for all us Emmy aficionados.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series:
Naveen Andrews, Lost
Bruce Dern, Big Love
Christian Clemenson, Boston Legal
Ted Danson, Damages
Michael Emerson, Lost
Zeljko Ivanek, Damages
T.R. Knight, Grey's Anatomy
William Shatner, Boston Legal
John Slattery, Mad Men
Blair Underwood, In Treatment
Jake Weber, Medium

There must have been a tie because this top 10 is actually a top 11, and yet still there are only two actors from Lost, and neither of them is last year's winner in this category Terry O'Quinn. For that matter, the much-deserving Henry Ian Cusick isn't there either. The Emmys clearly love Damages, giving it two slots, and the same goes for Boston Legal with past Emmy winners Shatner and Clemenson. I personally love that the much deserving Slattery and Underwood are in there, and hopefully this will inspire people to check out those two great shows. If there is a WTF placement, it's Weber, who does consistently solid work, but rarely great. As for Dern, Big Love fans know he only appeared in three episodes the whole season, so that's a bit embarrassing.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series:
Christina Applegate, Samantha Who?
Marcia Cross, Desperate Housewives
America Ferrera, Ugly Betty
Tina Fey, 30 Rock
Anna Friel, Pushing Daisies
Felicity Huffman, Desperate Housewives
Eva Longoria Parker, Desperate Housewives
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, The New Adventures of Old Christine
Mary-Louise Parker, Weeds
Sarah Silverman, The Sarah Silverman Program

ABC must be quite happy, taking up six of the 10 spots, though oddly Teri Hatcher was the one Desperate Housewife left out. The rest are about as expected, though it's shocking to see Silverman there, especially since Emmy favorite Patricia Heaton was back on TV with Back to You.
