Hiruma x Mamori

“You’re FUCKING WHAT?!”

“I-I thought you’d be happy,” Mamori’s eyes widened as Hiruma stood up from the table, a look of mixed anger and complete and utter shock on his face.  “The doctor says I’m already eight weeks pregnant.”

“I HEARD THAT FUCKING PART!” he screamed, his fingers in his hair.  “H-How’d you get pregnant?!”

“We do have sex,” Mamori raised an eyebrow.  “We are married.”

“Can you get a fucking abor--”

“Why are you so upset about this?!” Mamori put down her coffee cup and stood up.  “I thought you’d be happy!  We’ve been married for almost six years, and this is very special.”

“Special my ass!” Hiruma replied.  “I don’t want a damn kid running around!  It’ll ruin our lives!”

“In the fact that we have responsibility for someone else?” Mamori asked him sharply, and he gave his usual “tch”.  “Or in the fact that you can cuss all day and have sex with me on the kitchen floor?”

“You don’t get it!” he snapped.  “What kind of fucking father am I supposed--” He stopped abruptly, and Mamori looked up at him, as if his thoughts had just clicked together in her head. 

“Youichi…” she murmured, standing up.  He turned around, not facing her.

“I’ll get used to it,” he shrugged.  “And we can use the guest room for it, I guess.”

“Youichi…you’ll love the baby,” Mamori assured him, hugging him around the waist.  “I’m sure you will…”

“Whatever.”

“He looks like you.”

“Damn straight he does!” Hiruma was currently grinning from ear to ear as he looked at his new born son, Shoujiro Hiruma.  “He’s a boy isn’t he?  All the damn girls can look like you, but all the damn boys have to look like me.”

Mamori gave a warm smile at her husband.  Hiruma had quickly gotten over his fears of fatherhood over the past eight months.  He had been more then helpful, setting up the baby’s room and attending to Mamori’s needs.

“I want some chili in a can…” she had said one day.

“You some fucking canned chili?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.  “Where the hell am I supposed to get that?”

But after minor griping, he had left, and come back an hour later with canned chili after going to four different stores. 

Mamori hadn’t wanted the chili by then.

“We’ll get your son all cleaned up and ready to go, Hiruma-san, Mamori-san,” the doctor assured them, taking the small boy from Hiruma, who, Mamori was pleased to see, was a little reluctant to let go.  However, the doctor and the nurse walked out, Shoujiro in their arms, leaving Hiruma and Mamori alone. 

“I’m really tired…” Mamori sighed, laying her head down on the pillow.  Hiruma sat next to her, sighing.  “And you didn’t help!  With all your “fucking push, you damn wife!”  I thought I was going to die of embarrassment before giving birth.”

“Tch, whatever,” he scowled, but put his hand on her head anyway.  “Go to sleep.  You did good.”

“Thank you…”

“Umm…Hiruma-san, is it?”

The two looked up to see the nurse from before walking towards them.  “Umm…I have very odd news about your son.”

“Is he all right?” Mamori’s eyes widened.

“Yes, he’s fine,” the nurse assured them.  “But…it’s his…gums.”

“His fuck—I mean…his gums?” Hiruma asked, censoring himself only due to a slight kick from Mamori.  “What’s wrong with ‘em?”

“Well, almost all babies aren’t born with teeth,” the nurse said, and Hiruma and Mamori noticed the doctor was bringing in Shoujiro, who was now wrapped in a different blanket and moving his hands through the air.  “But…your son…”

“Has incredibly long canines,” the doctor said, showing the baby to his mother and father.  Mamori grimaced and Hiruma grinned as their son opened his mouth to reveal tiny white tips of canines poking through his gums. 

“That’s your son all right…” Mamori sighed, looking slightly disturbed.

Shoujiro stirred slightly, looked at his parents, opened his mouth, and gurgled out two incoherent words:  “Ya…ha!”
