Yeah, there's a few things you should take note of before signing up, especially if you've never done a themed community before.
[+] Your fics and art have to be gen. You can sign up for a relationship if you want, but you must only treat that relationship in a platonic light, rather than a romantic one. There are plenty of themed communities available for romance, but this is not one of them.
[+] No flaming others. Don't like someone's interpretation of a theme? Tough. Constructive criticism is allowed, however; there is a line between pointing out things that could be improved and in telling someone that their work sucks and that they should never darken the face of the internet again. Don't cross it.
[+] You are only allowed two claims, and not in the same fandom. For instance, say you want to claim Roy from Fullmetal Alchemist and Al and Winry from the same show? You'll have to pick one, not both. You can, however, choose another character or relationship from another show/game/comic if you want.
[+] If it's available, you can switch characters at any point if you lose interest in the first set or find yourself unable to continue.
[+]When someone has finished their thirty themes, the character/relationship they signed up with becomes available. We may remove someone after several months of inactivity; other than that, waiting for someone to finish with the character you want is the only way to write them if they've already been taken. Apologies.
[+] Last, but certainly not least... have fun! This community shouldn't be something you need to sweat over. Nobody will look down on you if you have to give up, and nobody will be annoyed if it takes you a while to finish the themes. Really. Art and fanfics uploaded must have the following header at the top, and must be lj-cut. Title: Fandom: Author: Character/relationship: Theme number: (Must be the full theme) Disclaimer/claimer: (if needed) Summary: (if needed) To save time, here's the code for the header: |
