As we are just back from a trip to Japan, I hope it's okay to plug a couple of the latest things we have posted up at tackey-tsubasa net, just in case you missed it:

High res scans
New high-res photo scans have been added to our 'look' gallery. These include all the images from the Tackey and Tsubasa BEST Tour including pamphlet shop photos, concert shop photos, concert official photosets, concert live photosets, and unofficial tour photos. Go to the 'look' gallery and click on either 'shop photos' or 'stage'  for the new galleries. We are still working on making available many of the other photos we purchased on the trip. Stay tuned.

I just heard from a friend in Japan that Tsubasa's solo tour has been determined. Just thought I'd share this! Isn't this wonderful^_^

Tickets are 5800 yen, and the deadline for balloting is November 18, 2005. As usual, this leaves almost no time to plan, although I know some fans who are going to try. This will be a hot ticket! I'm really happy for Tsubasa, as he'll be able to properly end the tour in Tokyo, where he started it over three months prior.

And btw, I'm still of the belief that Tackey & Tsubasa will hold some kind of Christmas event together. December 24 is still free, and factoring in Tsubasa's concerts, so are December 26 & 27 .

Well, this isn't exactly November which is what Takki had said back at GO!Con, but at least he's doing this before the end of the year. I figured he'd start slowly like Tsubasa did last year. So I was only expecting a few shows. But Takki is definitely doing much bigger halls! I don't think he'll have any trouble filling Osaka-Jo Hall & Yokohama Arena . In fact, for just four shows total (for now)...it'll still be a war for tickets?

And there is something in the back of my mind that is sticking from that GO!Con MC talk: Tackey & Tsubasa mentioned a Christmas event...*together as a unit*. Gosh, I wonder what they're doing on December 24??

Hideaki Takizawa will appear in a special drama called "Chichi no Umi, Boku no Sora" ("My Father's Sea, My Sky") which will air on August 21 & 22, 2004. It's part of the 24 Hour Television charity telethon (which is being co-hosted by Arashi). The storyline is of a father-son relationship.

Each day's show will start at 17:00.

Venue: Harajuku Shin Big Top. That's the same place where "Summary" is being held. BTW, this is a venue that JE actually owns, like the Globe Tokyo which they also own. And these dates are the ones where a "Summary" show is *not* being performed. So the venue is "free" for Tsubasa to use. The place is small; 2800-seat capacity only.

Tickets are 5,500 yen each. And because it's so close, there's no time for balloting. So...the only way is *by telephone*. Fan club members received a postcard on July 16. And the phones will open on July 16-18 only? I also heard that they will ask for the FC membership ID number when customers phone in.

My thoughts on this: Yes, it's very sudden and to squeeze Tsubasa in-between performances of "Summary" seems very harsh. But I also think it's part of a bigger plan. A third show could be added here, but more importantly, if these shows go over well, Tsubasa will be given more shows later on in the Fall at a larger venue.

Gotta think positive!

It's been two years since "Hatachi", so this is so overdue!

We're all celebrating right now, but remember to also start saving your funds...you *know* there are going to be multiple versions that we *must* have >_<.

No word yet as to what the DVD will consist of, but I'm personally hoping it'll include the very last show in Tokyo. Usually that's the best, isn't it?
