icons100 and 100of__
Um... what?
You claim a certain TV show, musician, movie pretty much ANYTHING you can think of. Then make 25 icons for that subject in a month.
Can anyone join?
Anyone can APPLY to join but not everyone will be accepted. This is a semi-elite community. To become a member you must apply to be judged. We will only accept people who show talent at making icons - no sharp text, no overfiltering... just pretty, pretty simple icons.
No we're not technically elitist ;) We just want to create a community where the icons are *the* best fandoms have to offer and to share tips and tricks so everyone can improve ;)
After you've been approved to post you then choose your claim or leave a comment at the wishlist if it's already taken ;)
In five easy steps:
1. APPLY HERE
2. If approved accept your invite HERE
3. Check the MASTER LIST
4. If you subject is not taken APPLY HERE
5. If your subject is taken you can ADD A COMMENT TO THE WAIT LIST or choose another subject for the master list
Rules:
* Again you must start by APPLYING FOR THE COMMUNITY
* After you are approved submit a claim to the master list IF THE SUBJECT IS NOT TAKEN. Please specify the exact fandom and subject and follow the template
* You can also add a comment to the wait list if your chosen subject is already taken
* Only claim one subject at a time. Once you've completed your subject you can then apply for more if they haven't been taken.
* You have a month to complete the project
* You must post your first batch within one week of being approved. Otherwise the subject will re open for claims.
* Because it's a skinny layout DO NOT STRETCH IT! In your icon teaser post one under the other not across!
* All 25 icons MUST contain your subject ;)
* You don't have to post all 25 icons in one go, however please post a minimum of FIVE per post. USE LIVEJOURNAL CUTS! Only post a maximum of three icons as a 'teaser'
* If your icon contains swearing, sex whatever POST IT BEHIND THE CUT with a warning. On that note porn will not be accepted into the community
* Make new icons for the challenge, don't simply re post old ones.
Themes:
AT LEAST TEN of your icons must contain any of the following themes. You don't have to make icons in order of the themes and each theme can only be used once.
