1. WTF is this?
I'm glad you asked! 20_fruits is inspired by The HP Character Random Facts/Things Meme Compilation and Fic [and Art] Fest put together by iulia_linnea. Basically, this community is for the posting of twenty random "facts" created by the author about a particular Fruits Basket character/relationship.

2. How do you define "facts"?
They can be based on canon, fanon, or pure speculation: In essence, what the writer thinks or would like to think is true about that character/relationship. Missing scenes, personality quirks, childhood anecdotes, a character's thoughts on other characters, etc.

3. Seriously, wtf?
If you're still confused, I'd suggest browsing through some of the entries in 20_souls (Bleach-based) or 20_truths (Naruto-based), or in the previously linked HP Character Random Facts/Things... thing.


About the Claims

4. Righto, what can I request?
A single character (Honda Tohru, Sohma Ayame, Manabe Kakeru), a group of characters (Rin and Hiro, the Mabudachi Trio, the Prince Yuki Fanclub), or a romantic relationship (Kyou/Tohru, Shigure/Akito, or the billions of other pairings you can probably think of).

5. Do you allow slash/threesomes/polygamy/etc.?
Yep! Anything goes. But if you think any of the content might squick people, please to be noting it at the beginning of your post.

6. How many claims can I make?
I won't put a limit on it, but I'll ask that you not claim more than four or five at a time unless you're sure you can finish them fairly quickly.

7. How many people can claim the same character/relationship?
Right now, let's just keep it at four. This is subject to change.

8. How long do I have to complete my claim?
I'm not going to set a strict time limit, but if I haven't heard from you in, say, three months (again, subject to change), I'll take your name off the list. Of course, I'll probably be more lenient on this if the character/pairing you've claimed isn't in high demand.

9. What if I want to claim a one-sided romantic pairing?
One-sided romances (meaning, for instance, if Momiji is in love with Tohru but Tohru isn't in love with Momiji) are still placed under "pairing."

10. Can I include any romance at all in my group claim?
That depends. Say you've claimed the group of Yuki, Kyou, and Tohru. You can have romantic feelings between Kyou and Tohru, but not between all three. Just remember that the focus should be on the group as a whole.
