Hi, I new to this community, but I was wondering if anyone's seen this particular 1x5 fic.
I've been looking for it for a while and can't remember the title or where I read it at.
Basically it's about Wufei being in love with Heero, but Heero doesn't love him back. The story goes as far as Wufei getting kind of sad about this and Heero pretending that he loves Wufei just so he can still function on missions. Wufei finds out leaves the safe house and the boys for some time to think. Come's back and has supposedly gotten over Heero. Then during a mission he puts himself in front of Heero and gets shot. Heero is wondering why he did that after all he's put him through and gradually falls for Wufei too. Then they finally got together at the end.
If anyone knows where I can find this story it would be super helpful.

This was an idea I'd fooled around with but mostly ignored in an attempt to write nothing longer than drabbles, but enough people in my journal expressed interest in it, so I went ahead and worked on it.
I missed writing GW, and this was amusing to write, so I guess I'm glad XDD;

Notes: For once I kind of let the fact that Endless Waltz and the Preventers happened make its way through my stubborn brain. I did take some liberties, however. This also takes place a few years after the series, so the boys are about 18 here.
Pretty much the whole original idea of this story was to poke a bit of fun at some of the GW fanfic cliches that have been around for years; especially the whole "the G-boys undercover at school" one. The splashes of OOCness are for comedy purposes only. This is supposed to be somewhat humorous, and for the most part is not to be taken seriously >>;;

Wow, I never thought I'll stumble on anything 1x5 again. It's a really bittersweet feeling, I have to say...
I first started writing fanfiction a good 5 years ago, and 1x5 was THE pairing for me at that time. Nothing else (ok perhaps 2x5 for a short while) ever came close. My favourite Gundam Wing character had always been Wufei, so everything I wrote and read evolved around him. Through writing and exploring 1x5, I grew to love Heero almost as much. ^^ It was only until I started working in 2006 and the realities of life eventually set in, that I drifted away from the fandom.
So, it's really something to come across this LJ community. Here's a big thank you to the founding members! I'm afraid I don't have anything new to contribute, since I stopped writing GW fanfiction 2-3 years ago. If old Wufei-centric fics would vaguely interest anyone, I do have some here:

Its about Heero and Wufei are on a mission together. They have to act as a couple and while they are pretending to have sex in their hotel room to trick a assassin into showing himself so they can kill him. If anyone knows where I can find this story. thanks
