AboutWelcome to the first, the original rating community for band geeks.
Do you have to be a rad band geek? yes. (Note that being part of the color guard counts!)
Do you have to follow to rules? yes.
Do you have to be sexy/smart? Not necessarily, but it can't hurt. We judge everything.
DISCLAIMER: The rules are there for a reason. They don't ask much. If you can't do an lj-cut, insert pictures, don't know how to promote, or are just an all-around idiot, i suggest you go read the FAQ before you apply. We DO reserve the right to be bitchy if you care so little that your application looks like your 10-year-old brother's AOL webpage. Please note the word "elite" in the title. Although we're generally a nice bunch of people, and as you can see by the accepted/rejected lists, not by any means harsh, we do expect you to have basic knowledge of spelling, grammar, and livejournal ettiquette.
THE RULES
applicants
-Use a LJ cut. If you don't know how, get the fuck out.
-Don't comment or post 'til you're accepted, except on your own application.
-If you're rejected, leave and don't come back.
-You will be judged on band geek-ness, personality, and looks. Don't whine if people are bitchy. You probably deserved it.
-You need over 50% yesses for an accepted stamp.
-Your application will be voted on for about 48 hours. ABOUT. okay?
-Bold questions. or the answers. or do something to make your application readable.

-Voting is either a "yes" or a "no" with reasons. None of that 1-10 shit.
-Please judge applicants in bandiness, personality, AND looks.
-If you're annoying, you'll be banned. period.
-Stay active or you'll be banned. If you're going away, tell us.
-Nudity goes behind a cut. I'm not sure why anyone would feel inclined to post any of this in a band community, but whatever floats your boat.
-Do not be rude to new applicants. We band people are known for our general open-mindedness, and that's a positive thing. Respect everybody's different tastes and lifestyles.
-If you are just plain rude, you will get a warning from one of the mods. Two warnings and you're banned, period.
-If you have already been accepted and you change your username, DO NOT make a post informing us of this. Instead, please inform us of your old and new usernames as a comment to this post: http://www.livejournal.com/community/1sexybandgeek/335790.html
-Posting band ratings/experiences/pictures/anything band related would be great, maybe someday there'll be themes and contests, but as for now...
