2 - The sentence may be whatever you deem important or powerful enough.
I won't delete any posts that are only one sentence, but, keep in mind that this is supposed to be a powerful statement that touched you. If you type "I like cheese." or something to that effect, just keep that in mind when you do want to say something powerful.
