Here is my basic idea- I want this to be a forum for sharing recipes, shopping strategies, and general helpful hints about shopping and running a household for one.  I mean, face it- home ec classes are far from the norm.  So most of us are trying to be grown ups on a tight budget, but eat healthy and tasty at the same time and errrrkkkk!!!! how do real grown ups make this crap look so easy, and still have time to sleep?   Clearly, we need to get some information exchange going.
