Leo and Annabeth
Annabeth: Annabeth smiles, putting the twins down for their nap. She walks down to Leo's study, putting a file folder on his desk as she sits in his lap. She'd gone to the doctor on Friday without him.
Leo: "What's this?" Leo watches her, smiling.
Annabeth: "Open it."
Leo: He does, smiling, "You went without me."
Annabeth: "You wouldn't come home from the office."
Leo: "I couldn't. You know that."
Annabeth: She nods. "I understand."
Leo: "This is great news though."
Annabeth: She rubs his arms. "You'll make the next one."
Leo: He nods, rubbing her belly, "Feel alright?"
Annabeth: She nods. "I feel great. I have been gaining the weight I needed to and she's healthy."
Leo: He grins, rubbing her belly, "I see that."
Annabeth: "I need a new dress for that Mother's Day thing."
Leo: "Do what you want. Money does not matter."
Annabeth: "I don't fit into the one I was planning." She sighs, leaning against him. "It's our first Mother's Day as a family."
Leo: He nods.
Annabeth: "We're going to take the boys out. I'm excited."
Leo: He smiles, rubbing her belly still.
Annabeth: "I heard they're doing better." She leans into his arms, watching his hands.
Leo: "PoTUS and the girl?"
Annabeth: She nods.
Leo: He nods, "They're good."
Annabeth: "Glad you'll be home more." She adjusts across his lap. "The twins are napping."
Leo: "Good."
Annabeth: She sighs. "Tommy's been fussy lately."
Leo: "He'll be alright."
Annabeth: "I'm doing the right thing."
Leo: "Yeah."
Annabeth: "The book says they shouldn't have pacifiers except in bed."
Leo: "It doesn't matter. Just give it to him."
Annabeth: "It's not good for their teeth." She swallows. "He's going to get through it." Mickey had taken to his blanket instead.
Leo: "They have that white stuff in their mouths."
Annabeth: "What white stuff?"
Leo: "The rash thing."
Annabeth: "Show me?" She can hear Tommy yelling anyway.
Leo: "You'll see it when you go get him. I have reading to do."
Annabeth: She sighs. "Please come with me?"
Leo: "Just go take care of it. I really have things to do."
Annabeth: She looks into his eyes, needing him.
Leo: He sighs, getting up and walking with her.
