Annabeth and Leo
Annabeth: Annabeth sighs, checking her watch again.
Leo: Leo stays at work and finally calls his wife after being told a dozen times.
Annabeth: Annabeth answers the phone. "Leo?"
Leo: "Hey, Beth."
Annabeth: "Where are you?" She yawns a little.
Leo: "I'm at work. Listen, go ahead and eat and go to bed. I'm going to stay here."
Annabeth: "You need to come home." She's soft. "I ate dinner already."
Leo: "The President is in the hospital. You need to go to bed."
Annabeth: "I can come in and help."
Leo: "No, I don't want you getting sick."
Annabeth: "Come home."
Leo: "No, Annabeth. Not right now."
Annabeth: "You can't get sick either. Think about the boys."
Leo: "They're monitoring me. They're close to enacting the 25th again, Beth."
Annabeth: "I want you home." She swallows. "Please."
Leo: "Not right now. I said no. I need to be here."
Annabeth: "You need to be with our children. You need to be here with me."
Leo: "You need to grow up right now."
Annabeth: "Grow up? My husband is somewhere where he could get very sick. I want you home."
Leo: "There are more important things right now than you, Annabeth." He hangs up, making his secretary go home.
Annabeth: She dials back, angry.
Leo: He picks it up, "I don't have time for you, Annabeth."
Annabeth: She ignores him, furious. "Do you know what could happen to our children when you bring that home? It could kill any of our children. It could kill you. Is that what you want? Do you hate us that much? Or are you so wrapped up in your job that you just can't see that you have me terrified?"
Leo: "No, I care about my country that much that I'd rather stay here than bring it to you."
Annabeth: "I can't lose you." She whispers, very hormonal.
Leo: "You aren't so just stay where you are."
Annabeth: "I'm scared Leo." She whispers.
Leo: "Well, don't be."
Annabeth: "Why aren't you scared?" She rubs her bump.
Leo: "Because I don't have time for it."
Annabeth: "Can I send you some dinner?" She'd made his favorite dinner.
Leo: "No, just leave it there."
Annabeth: "You'll come home tonight?"
Leo: "I doubt it. Don't wait up for me."
Annabeth: "I'll bring you a clean suit tomorrow if you want. Please let me know what's going on."
Leo: "I don't want you anywhere near here. Do you understand?"
Annabeth: "I want to take care of you." She's soft.
Leo: "I said no."
Annabeth: She swallows. "Will you call me Leo? So I don't worry?"
Leo: "Yeah, later hopefully."
Annabeth: "Please don't stay too late." She stifles a yawn.
Leo: "Yeah, I know." He hangs up, taking care of other things in the office.
Annabeth: She sighs, hanging up.
