[AD + FANART + ORIGINAL] tablets & tegaki-e

I've had a tablet for about a month now, but I've only begun using it the past two weeks. If any of you have Tegaki-E, feel free to mark my blog. ♥ If you don't, get one?! Haha, it's really fun, I promise you!

Anyway, just so this post isn't empty, have my latest artwork~?

Hurr, roleplay-inspired even though Aerith would so do that in the games if possible. Both colored by mouse! Here is the lineart for the Cupid one.

Finally made something that looks good in the thumbnail orz. Harpy siblings~ and no, I do not have good color coordination, rofl.

As for those prompts, they haven't been neglected. I'm considering what methods I should use to produce them since these are for practice, and I want to use a media I need practice on. |D I downloaded OpenCanvas 4.5.09 but haven't installed because...you know, it's not officially compatible with Vista. Don't want my OS to explode. Suggestions?

[ORIGINAL] Horoscopes

Since I was scanning a ton of pictures for my mom last night, I decided to scan something I drew before I got my laptop last...October. At that time I entertained myself with a mobile version of Diner Dash and the entertainment section in the newspaper. The horoscopes symbols on it were interesting so was inspired to draw my own renditions of them. I...didn't draw them all because I got bored and distracted by the time I moved into my apartment.

[ notes ] These were all done straight in ballpoint pen. Wanted to see how I did without pencil. You can totally skip Sagittarius because I can't draw Centaurs at all. ~~Or bows.~~ ...b-but I tried. Hope you like!

I thought I had a cool idea for Cancer but the Nevare in Granado Espada kind of covered it...!

Typing this half-asleep since I had a long day, but I really wanted to get this down, SO. Watchers, here is your opportunity to get some free art. This isn't a free commission or a request fulfillment; it's a word prompt thing that'll make me draw stuff for you.

Examples would explain better.

WORD PROMPT #1: butterfly
WORD PROMPT #2: crystal
WORD PROMPT #3: dark

Then my fingers delineate whatever comes to mind with the prompt, and that'll be SCANNED and put in here. finally got my scanner..!

You can post as many or as little word prompts as you like. You can comment with phrases or paragraphs if you feel like it too! I like details. Get the senses spurring. Do note that I won't draw something for every prompt; just the ones that provoke my imagination.

The point of this post is to stimulate me into drawing more since I've drawn so little in the eight years I've begun the hobby that I'm disappointed with myself. So please, do me this great favor, and I'll do my best not to displease. ♥

THis is a gift for timing. ♥ I've had it in an envelope for over a month, but I haven't had the chance to drop it off at the post office for reasons you may guess~. I'll send it to you soon, though! Anyway, I hope you like it! I had much fun drawing it, especially since I got to experiment with thicker, clean-cut lines.

Made this for a Christmas exchange that didn't really make a big break, so I'm dumping it here~

In right to left order: the Earl, Skin Borick, Debitt&Jasdero, and Tyki and Rhode. This was a secret santa exchange gift for catalysis, but my gifts never got the chance to be posted, unfortunately. So, Seal-chan, if you're looking at this, I hope you like it~ I put my all into the piece!

Anyhow, that drawing has no smudge of ink, but it was funny how one of the photos turned out looking like inked lineart. Yes, those yellow things are post-it notes.

This set was originally drawn almost two years ago for a friend, but just last night did I decide to ink them. Slowly but surely, I am getting over my fear of inking; however, it's being replaced with the fear of the ink running out. Need to see if I can still find pens with diameters below 0.5.

Well, I got my tablet to work! It's still a little buggy at times, but I can still use it.

I thought I'd follow Ada's examples with preview thumbs. You might notice that these are like, worse than oekaki sketches... and really, I can guarantee you that I'm mostly going to post sketches. I don't have the motivation or time to compose full-color works...yet. I will produce them someday. Promise.

First digital sketch I drew after getting the tablet to function. I've been wanting to draw these protoganists together for a while. I plan to ink and color it. And yes, I do not remember their outfits. :P

The first OC I roleplayed, I think. I shant give any details, but Zeal is supposed to be a beautiful, cheerful girl with an ethereal aura around her. If you're wondering about the palette smudged in corner... I was going to try and ink it until my tablet pooped out. :(

Erm, these two aren't really mine. They're my friend shiroi_hikari's. This pairing is so cute, my gosh, I can gush over them for hours on IM. Hee, well, if you want to learn more about them, you can friend ShiHi's writing journal skystarless. You'll fall in love with them.

The image depicts their first date.

Comments: Don't wake the Low Blood Pressure King... or this might happen. Apparently Kyouya wears a t-shirt to sleep, but I didn't think a t-shirt looked very menacing so I scrapped the whole idea of him having a shirt altogether. Not that you mind, right?

Comments: #41 of the Poseidons, Kakei Shun! I'm not really sure how long this one took me... We'll say more than 10 hours. It actually started as a random guy who looked enough like Kakei for me to just transform the image into him. I had a lot of fun with this one~ Fabric is really hard to render, but I like the result even if it's not exactly right.. haha.

Comments: Akaba Hayato of the Bando Spiders. This one took me about 7-8 hours in one sitting. I actually started and finished it in the same day. Yes, I am probably crazy. I couldn't draw him in the pose I wanted to, so I made this piece more focused on the composition rather than subject... how is it? The kanji on his guitar pick is "aka" for "crimson".

I love E21 characters.

15half Revamp

Hey everyone, as you've all noticed, 15half hasn't been active for many months now. I've lost interest in maintaining a music journal, so unfortunately this is my official post stating that there will no longer be music updates here.

I really like the name 15half, so instead of deleting this community it is going to be the new home of gooziewoozie's and my artwork. All old music posts are going to be deleted and gradually replaced with posts of our art.

Because there are so many members I'm not going to be removing any membership. Those of you who are interested in seeing our work, feel free to stay a member! Those of you who aren't interested, feel free to de-friend and leave the community. Thanks for all your support!
