If you made a claim before February 1, 2008, and have not posted, you have until the weekend to post an art piece or a work of fanfiction at least 100 words long. If you do not, you will lose your pairing and will not be able to reclaim it until the end of May. Just a reminder, there are no extensions for this purge as no purge has been done. Summary: Life is all about changes. For Dee, those changes are about to turn his life upside down.

He could not say what had possessed him that night. He had been drinking. Dee knew as much. He also knew he had allowed J.J. to drag him off to some bar where the alcohol tasted weak, but he drank anyway. It was all an effort to forget about dark-eyes and sandy-coloured hair.

Ryo had left him for reasons yet to be explained, and it had hurt. J.J. wanted to take his place, and that was simply annoying and downright impossible. No one could ever take Ryo’s place in Dee’s heart. No one could ever erase from his memory the long nights they had spent together just wrapped in each other’s arms. Those were memories Dee wanted, he cherished them, and he would never forsake them. However, he would drink to erase the hurt, even if it killed him.

Perhaps that was what he had been intending to do all along. In the end, though, it hardly mattered. Not after he had walked into the bar that night.

The moment Dee saw him, his mouth started to water at the sight. Long, dark hair with red highlights and strong legs simply waltzed right in, capturing the green-eyed detective’s attention.

He wore a pale blue shirt, partially unbuttoned with a white tee poking out. This guy looked like some kind of a supermodel, someone who did not have to beg for the attention. As his eyes roved over a fine physique, noting how well those denim jeans hugged a tight ass, Dee rose to his feet and moved, and that was all he could really remember.

Now, he sat in his bed, his head pounding from the amount of alcohol he drank, and his mysterious man lay next to him, sleeping soundly. The same dark hair lay over the pillow like some kind of twisted halo. Guilt tried to twist itself into Dee’s body and emotions. He had taken advantage, maybe even forced himself onto this person, but he found the feeling could not stick. His companion looked peaceful, satisfied even, and neither of them were wearing scratches or bruises. They apparently had a good time.

Quietly, Dee snuck out of his bed and retrieved his camera. He did not know who this person was, yet, but he did not want to lose this moment. While he still yearned for Ryo, something told him this person was just as equally fascinating, and he would regret it if he did not get at least one photo of this tranquil moment.

He held the camera up . . .

Summary: Let the game of cat and mouse begin.

Perhaps it was the fact a fire remained in those eyes, even after time had passed since they had last seen each other. Perhaps it was the younger man’s determination, his will to succeed no matter the cost to himself. Both were traits anyone in SOLDIER strived to achieve, and the sights of both burned themselves into his memory, as if he possessed a camera in his mind, and his mind taken a photo of those qualities.

Either reason hardly mattered, in Sephiroth’s opinion. He just knew his nemesis possessed something unique, something he at least wanted to taste once in his life.

As he faded away, Sephiroth vowed he would come back, despite Cloud’s words to him. He would not remain a memory, not for anyone.

It's about time I did one of these. ^_^

Anyway, this is the three week notice for all members who have not posted or made claims after February 1, 2008. Claims made before that date either need to be updated or dropped. I am not taking any requests for extensions. I've not done a purge in almost a year. I think that's been a long enough extension for everyone, including myself.

The purge will take place on May 1st around midnight. All participants in danger of losing their claims have until then.

Remember, your claim is only in danger if you have not posted or made a claim before February 1, 2008.

Real life has been hectic on my end but I have not forgotten about this place or any of my other comms, I swear! ^_^

This is just a little FYI. April 1 the purge notice will be announced, meaning I will be getting back on schedule for purging dead claims. Please note that I give everyone ample warning about when purges will take place so drabbles/chapters can be posted or extensions requested.

I hope everyone is having fun with their claims and getting some really juicy ideas. More later!!
