I came across 12_stories and loved the concept so much, I asked if I could duplicate it for those of us fanfic writers who write RPF or RPS. I'm going to assume that if you're here, you are of age, whatever that may be in your country. If I find out you're not, you're gone.
The concept of this challenge is pretty simple. You may claim multi-pairings and multi-fandoms, all within the same claim, to make up your twelve stories.
You may claim:
01 pairing and write 12 stories for that pairing
02 pairings and write 06 stories for each pairing
03 pairings and write 04 stories for each pairing
04 pairings and write 03 stories for each pairing
06 pairings and write 02 stories for each pairing
12 pairings and write 01 story for each pairing
Making a total of 12 stories to be written to complete your claim.
There are 8 tables from which you can choose: Nature. Colours. Time. Occasions. Light. Dark. Miscellaneous 1. Miscellaneous 2. Go here to see the prompts for each table.
First: Choose your fandoms and pairings or characters. They can be slash, gen, het as long as they are real people. If you want tv shows, movies or anything fictional, check out 12_stories. Go here to make your claim.
Second: ONCE YOU ARE ACCEPTED and not before, post here with your exact claim so that a new tag can be added for you. Remember, you cannot post until you have been accepted!
Third: Posting Information. Stories should be posted as follows.

Stories must be a minimum of 100 words. There is, however, no maximum.

Fourth: Once you are completely finished with all 12 fics, post here and you will receive a special banner that you can proudly display!
Questions:
- Are there any deadlines?
- Nope. Whatever floats your boat.
- If I pick a pairing, does every fic have to have that pairing in it? What about if I pick a single character? What about a threesome or triad?
- It has to have both/all characters in it, but it doesn't have to have them paired together. If you pick a single character, PLAY! Pair him or her with whoever you wanna play with.
- Can I claim a character paired with an original character?
- Uhm, in this case, I'm gonna say no. You can write a character with an original character.
- Can I claim a crossover pairing?
- Mmm, no. But you can claim the player and just cross 'em over with whomever.
- Do all my claims have to be the same kind, e.g. all pairings, all single characters?
- No. Mix it up. That's the point of this challenge.
- What kind of pairing can I claim?
- Slash, Het or Gen. Whatever you prefer to write.
- Does the pairing have to be strictly canonical?
- No. It doesn't matter if the 'norm' is for Character A to be with Character B, whereas you want to write Character A with Character C, that is fine.
- May I write about a character from one fandom and another character from another fandom?
- Yes, you may. Just make sure that when you claim you make it clear that you are claiming two characters from two different fandoms.
- May I claim fictional characters?
- Sorry no. But if that's what you want, go to 12_stories.
- Do I have to claim all my pairings from the same fandom?
- No. They can be from as few or as many fandoms as you wish.
- May I claim more than table at a time?
- Yes, you may claim as many as you want. However, you must be prepared to write twelve stories for each claim.
- May I claim the same pairings for more than one table?
- Yes, you may claim as many as you want. However, you must be prepared to write twelve stories for each claim.
- May I claim the same table for two different claims?
- Yes. As long as the two claims do not contain the same pairings
- Do I have to write an equal number of stories for each pair/character I claim?
- Yes you must. Your claim can be: 01 pairing and write 12 stories for that pairing; 02 pairings and write 06 stories for each pairing; 03 pairings and write 04 stories for each pairing; 04 pairings and write 03 stories for each pairing; 06 pairings and write 02 stories for each pairing; or 12 pairings and write 01 story for each pairing. You may not claim four pairings and write one story for one pairing, three for another and four for the other two. If you are claiming four pairings, you must write three stories about each pairing.
- How quickly will my claim be approved?
- I hope I manage to get them done within 24 hours during the week, but in some cases, it can take me up to a week. Usually, you won't have to wait more than four days.
- Who tags the stories?
- You do, please. I will set your tag up for you when I approve your claim, but you will be responsible for your own tagging. To access these tags, once you have posted your story or the link to your story to the Community, click on the word 'Tags', which will appear at the bottom of the post, and this will take you to a list of the relevant tags.
- When do I post? All a once or one at a time?
- Post 'em when and how you want. Just give me a heads up when your table is complete so you'll be able to get a pretty banner.
- Are fake cuts okay?
- Links are cool. Fake cuts are awesome.
- What is the policy on AU? What about crossovers?
- AU's rock. Crossover's are cool too. Just keep 'em to a small amount. No more than ten if you don't mind.
- Can we post the stories elsewhere that we write for this?
- Please do. In fact, you don't have to post 'em here unless you want to. I'd love to have your fics, but it's not necessary.
- Do we have to post them in order? Or can I post number 23 before number 1, etc?
- You don't have to post them in any order. Grab whichever prompt tickles your muse. That also goes for the timeline of the fandom. You can post a future fic, then a past, etc.
- How central do the prompt words have to be to the story?
- The word does not have to be in the fic. The fic simply has to at least suggest the word. Any take on the word. Don't feel the need to stick to the implied meaning.
- Can I use more than one prompt in one fic?
- Nope. One prompt per fic. That way you have 12 fics, which is rather the point of the challenge, see?
- Can I do a claim jointly with someone else?
- No. Part of the challenge is having to write all 12 fics by yourself.
