| About: | New email address: 10yearsbtvs@googlemail.com This a community to mark the 10th Anniversay of BTVS - can you believe it's been ten years? As far as I can work out March the Tenth seems to be the day it all started - but seeing as I didn't know this until the 7th of March so I figured a Summer celebration would be the way to go and maybe even keep going into the fall depending on interest and feedback? There will be different aspects of the fandom which we are hoping to play with in the fall and we hope that everyone will come back to join in the fun! Basically it's a Spikecentric for now :) community to post fics, vids, graphics and artwork etc... anything that you like that features Spike in all his incarnations throught the years, souled and unsouled and in doing so creating a community where anyone can post something for everyone to enjoy. We also want non LJ writers and artists to post - if you send us the pretties you create or the fics you have written the mods will be delighted to post for you on your posting day The aim is to have a two month ficathon and artathon of Spike starting on the Monday 2nd of July and running till the end of August initially in four blocks and then hopefully rollover into the fall with something different in the Buffyverse :) We have each taken part in several ficathons and have drawn inspiration and ideas from all their rules as at least one of us is new to the comm experience. We simply want to make sure that everyone is protected and happy as the months unfold. Any similarities to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} summer_of_spike, seasonal_spuffy, winter_of_wes, and several others are in the spirit of continuing the fandom and not meant to offend. All of the ficathons and artathons on LJ are the reason we still have fandom love and we only wished to carry on the fun!• This community is about having fun and sharing our creativity! Please treat each member as you would want to be treated. :o) • All stories/vids/graphics must be initially created specifically for the community. Once you have had your posting day then its fine to post elsewhere. The only reason we're asking this is to ensure the entries were created for the community and are new goodies to be enjoyed by everyone. • All submissions must include the author’s name, story title, and chapter title/number in the subject header of each post. • All entries fics, vid, graphics etc must be placed behind an LJ cut - this mainly due to size issues and not wanting to swamp readers LJs. • All submissions should have the following details listed above the LJ cut so that the readers can decide if they wish to read or not. Medium: icons, banners, fanfic, music video, naughty limericks, drabbles, ficlets and artwork Title: By: Pairing: Also make sure you pop in a slash or het warning here This is a must as some people don't read one or the other Rating: Make sure to post any R or NC-17 material behind a cut. Or something such as this :) • All written work must be betaed – this is a must! • All artwork and written submissions must be your own – we will not tolerate plagiarists the heartache and stress it causes really is awful. • Members will be assigned a posting date within the window they select or as close as possible depending on how many people sign up. The cutoff time for posting dates is midnight where ever you live. If you have any problems posting let us know and we will do our best to help. • If you have any specific requests just drop us an email or let us know when you sign up. For example: things such as you and another person want to share a day. Or maybe you want to let me know that you'll be posting a lot of chapters or graphics. Or if you want someone else to post your fic for you on your day because you won't be able to. • Please take time to lend your support to whoever posts as feedback really does make a persons day! The rules are subject to change, as this is all learning curve for me. Suggestions, questions or ideas are always appreciated!
