10tunes is a fanfic community based around Harry Potter and... music. Most people hear a song and are like "Hey! That reminds me of..." The idea is that you take 10 songs and write a fic for each of them. We encourage new fics, but x-posting is allowed. So if you like music (or a challenge!) then sign up and get writing!!

SIGNING UP
1. Pick your pairing (any are allowed, as long as they are in the Potterverse)
2. a. pick your ten songs
b. choose a prompt list already created
3. Pick up a blank prompt table (here)
4. Fill in your prompts
5. FINALLY! Comment to this post to stake your claim. Please include your pairing and a link to your prompt table.
6. As soon as you get confirmation on your claim, start writing!!

RULES
Claims
1. As of now, you can only have one pairing at a time. EDIT: You may now have up to 3 pairings.
2. No one can have the same pairing. If two people have requested it, the latest of the two (or 3, 4, 5… etc.) will be wait-listed.
3. We request that you try to post at least once a week. That way if your pairing has a waitlist, that person isn’t waiting forever.
4. If you haven’t been posting and someone brings it to our attention, you may be removed of your claim.
5. While you are waitlisted you may take another pairing. However, you must complete your current pairing to take the waitlisted pairing.
6. If someone requests to be waitlisted after you and you have a different pairing at the time, that person will have the option of bumping you down on the waitlist. (The solution to this- post quickly.)
Posting
1. All posts must be behind a cut! If you do not post behind a cut your post is in danger of being deleted (if you need help with lj-cut, just ask.)

3. When your claim is accepted you will be given tags. Please alaways post with these tags. If you need help using tags please comment here.

4. No flaming. Constructive critism is allowed and commenting is HIGHLY encouraged, but if you are just going to flame (i.e. “this suxxxxx, I hate Snape/Sirius. LOSER”) then just… don’t comment.
5. All ratings are allowed, however, please indicate ratings in the header. Also, if you are under 17 and read a fic that is rated R or above, you are taking responsibility in your own hands. We do not have the time or the engery to investigate the age of posters/readers. EDIT: We will not accept incest pairings. However, threesomes and triangles are allowed.
6. You may write a drabble (100 words) or a novel, just make sure everything is behind a cut.
7. Finally, a word on the fics. These DO NOT have to be “song fics” (i.e. fics that revolve around a song.) The songs are supposed to help you get inspired and breed creativity. Keep in mind that they CAN BE song fics, it’s really all up to you. But please state which of your songs (prompts) you are using. It’s a lot of fun to look up your inspiration!
