About:

10pokes is a themed fanwork community modelled after the idea of

30_kisses and other, similar theme communities. The objective is to create ten pieces of writing or artwork (Or a combination of both!) based around the themes provided, with each involving a poke.

+ Each submission must use ONE theme, and somehow incorporate a poke, as per the community name.

+ The poking doesn’t have to be literal. It can be the thought or mention of a poke, the sun poking over the horizon, a character’s head poking through a doorway, a sheet of paper poking out from beneath the sofa; whatever.

+ All fandoms are allowed, including originals and crossovers.

+ You are permitted a maximum of two claims, preferably from seperate fandoms.

+ Claims can not be combined. If you have two claims, your goal is ten works for each.

+ Your claim can be for a character, a romantic relationship, or a non-romantic relationship such as brotherly love, rivalry, hatred, et cetera.

+ The entries can be writing, fanart, or a combination of both.

+ You may complete your claim(s) with one collaborator, if you’d like.

+ Poetry does not count as a submission, although you can include poetry in your story; just not on its own.

+ Use of song lyrics is fine, as long as credit is given in the disclaimer.

+ There are no limits for your claim to be completed. We’d appreciate it if you could post as much as possible, but there’s no pressure here.
