I.. uh, I dunno, I've been hooked on pixel art again lately. :| hope it's cool!
both the versions with the thought bubble have a transparent bubble (they are PNGs), you could insert whatever you like into it i suppose. i didn't know what to shove in it.

Holy crap. Pixel art looks like it takes a lot of time. I'd go insane.

it usually takes me less time than pretty/smoothed-out airbrush art. XD stuff like sprites drives me nuts though!
