Bones texture set & looking for a lost brush

  • Sep. 16th, 2007 at 11:18 PM
First the request: I had an epic hard drive crash and lost a ton of stuff. One brush I particularly need was from a set of wingding accents - I think by luxbrush? - with a skull and crossbones. I always use them in my icons from the Fox series Bones, like this one:

And for legality, I cut a few textures from Bones caps and made a small set of six 100x100 texture brushes. Zip contains brushes for Paint Shop Pro 11, image pack and preview image.

ETA: Found my skull and crossbones! [info]luxbrush still has them hosted on deviantart.

PSP X Brushes: Old Things

  • Aug. 4th, 2007 at 5:40 PM
Old Things is a BIG set of PSP7 and PSPX brushes with a general antique theme. There are two versions available because of the size restriction differences between PSP 7 and PSPX when it comes to making brushes.

If you're interested in the PSP7 version, you can download it here. No comments or credit required, although certainly appreciated.

I've made a couple of brushes, it's been a long time since I last did that lol! I've made them in PSP 11 but i am more than sure you will be able to use them in previous versions.

Images from stock.xchng, brushes made by myself. Please comment & credit [info]dunndunn or [info]queen_nothin when using.

To make some Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy icons and banners, I've created some brushes.
I don't know if these will be useful also to someone else... however here they are:

EDIT: Sorry! I forgot to specify: Paint Shop Pro 8 brushes (*.pspbrush) + imagepack

The brushes are made with the images that I found in the official web site, they are not designed by me ;)

  • Jan. 14th, 2007 at 11:52 PM
** Edit: Problems with the imagepack have been resolved **

26 Burned paper brushes created in PSP8. All are from scans of paper I burned (and nearly managed to take the house with ;) )

Twenty 100x100 brushes and six 500x500 brushes. Imagepack contains twenty 100x100 brushes, five 500x500 brushes and two much larger ones.

Credit isn't strictly necessary for icon work but I would prefer to have some somewhere for larger graphics. Thank you.

Enjoy!

JBR | pspBrush | Image Pack | ABR (PS CS2)

Yeah, I know borders aren't as popular as they used to be, but here's a small set for anyone who still likes a border once in a while. For those new to icon-making, examples using an overlay or soft light layer.

No commenting/crediting required.
