Firsly, Hi to everyone! Newbie! ^___^ And... On with the work:
Pairing: Not really. SS and PP (NOT slash, but if you dig that ship I guess it's a pretty slashable drabble). Time: HBP Rating: G or PG In response to: Homelife challenge Word Ct: 100 title: Not a dangerous Task author: strawberry_chik
'Do you ever get out of this chair?'
Snape lifted his eyes from the book and looked down at Wormtail. After a short contemptuous stare, he resumed his reading.
'Lazy bastard.' muttered Wormtail under his breath with a sneak upward glance.
But he should have spoken more quietly, and definitely shouldn't have looked up. As Snape's eyes met his, Wormtail cowered exactly as if the silent threat had been shouted at him.
'Sorry,' he spat with effort, hating himself, shaking as he resumed the task of polishing Snape's black boots. 'It's... my knees, they hurt, you know.'
'Shut up, Wormtail.'
-----//------
Hey guys, I'm new at this drabble thing, when I write words like Snape's or shouldn't (contractions I mean) do they count as one word?
This is X-posted to my lj.

Hi! This is my first post here, and I'm pretty nervous! It's my first attempt at a true drabble, as well. Please be gentle!
Title: "Homecoming" Author: tamlane Pairing: Er... well, it's just about Luna, actually. Rating: G Word Ct: 100 In response to: "Home Life" challenge
***
The cab deposited her in front of the mill house that had no place in the creek valley of Ottery St. Catchpole. Every year, the driver was the same. An elderly man smelling of chewing tobacco, who accepted her Galleons without question. Her school trunk remained on the lawn.
She found the hall empty, a stack of outdated Quibblers the height of a small chair serving as her resting spot. Silence crept along wooden floors where once her mother's footsteps clicked and swished. A layer of dust took their place.
This year, her glasses had still not been returned.

Title: Bitterness Pairing: James Potter/Peter Pettigrew Rating: R - because I can't be arsed to find out what the new rating system is supposed to be. Word count: 100. Author's Notes: Seventh-year, Marauders. (This stupid thing WOKE ME UP. Complete and ready for typing. I don't like Wormtail, I never have, and I don't know why I made James have sex with him. I swear it, I'm sorry. *meep*)
Peter whines as James thrusts, the sensations too much for him. Always too much for Peter, but nobody cares. James only does this because he’s part of the group. Moony and Padfoot are too precious to each other, in love, and Peter isn’t loved by anyone. They mentor him, even in this. Peter mewls when he comes, even though his orgasm seems rooted in his toes and the spasms of his muscles make him tremble for whole minutes after. He can’t summon their roars and cries, it isn’t in him. James grunts, “OK, Wormtail?” Peter says, “Yeah.” Thinks, nothing is.

Title: Moonlight Sonata, a Drabble Pairing: Harry/Draco Rating: PG Note: A late entry, I know, for the home life challenge. It's in my style again, where I use "you" instead of "him" and such. It's written to Harry.
The stone walls are rough under your fingertips as they trace your passage through the moonlit corridors. These halls are filled with nothing but your loneliness. Draco’s spirit is fading, receding back to the shadows in every corner of your life. Soon he will be gone for good.
Treading carpeted ground, you are getting nowhere. There is always motion but never movement. Walking the halls and never getting closer. Separated, you are the hero, he the martyr. Yet you believe in his return.
The manor is cold without him, dark with despair.
Tomorrow you learn that your lover is dead.

Title: Rules Were Made to be Broken Words: 100 Challenge: Holidays Note: I hope no one gets offended by this. It's just an idea I had that could perhaps explain why wizards celebrate Christmas. Don't kill me? :x
"I don't see why we celebrate the birth of some Muggle prophet," Millicent said acidly, dragging her trunk into the common room.
Blaise laughed, flopping onto the sofa. "He wasn't Muggle, though. He was the first wizard to break the Statute of Secrecy."
She gaped at him. "And wizarding authorities... crucified him?"
"Well, no. The Muggles did that. It was a bit of a laugh for him, of course, he pretended to die and be resurrected, and they just took it from there."
"So what's to celebrate?"
"Wizards always appreciate a good show, don't they?" Blaise said with a wink.

Title: Frosty Words: 100 Challenge: Holidays
It had been rather a boring tour, so far. They'd won every match, and the competition was, frankly, rather crap. Americans apparently concentrated on different sports.
Ron flopped down in the chair and picked up the ubiquitous remote control they found in all the motels--they'd been staying at Muggle establishments--and pressed the "on" button.
"Muggles have pictures on the telly for everything. This one says it's about a snowman!"
Harry peered over his shoulder. "Huh?"
Ron pointed. "Magic in a hat? I didn't think Muggles went in for that sort of thing. Maybe it's like a Sorting Hat…"

Here are two more drabbles for the 100wizards Holidays challenge. Warning: Angst mixed with sentiment.
( Christmas Afternoon, Year 6 [HP, RL, Gen] )
( Christmas Teatime, Year 6 [SS, RL, Gen] )
Wishing you all the best for the holidays and the new year!

"You're joking. That's--" Hermione stopped short. After all, she'd never have thought giants, mountain trolls, and talking hats could be real, when she was ten.
But she didn't want to be gullible. She'd fallen for that sort of thing before. "How do you account for the heart, then?"
Neville blinked. "Um. What?"
"The heart. Being three sizes too small?"
Neville sputtered and stammered, and Hermione put her hands on her hips. "The Grinch is not either a Squib. Who told you?"
Neville looked at the floor.
"Was it Harry? Seamus? Who?"
Neville blushed. "Gran. Trying to warn me."
"…Oh."

Title: No Place Like Home
Author: Scela Letifer
Challenge: Home life
Words: 100
Characters: Harry, Dumbledore, Dursleys
He spends his days trying to remember what another person’s skin feels like.
Sirius - help - God - helpmeplease.
Each night, Harry’s screams wake himself up. Throat raw, eye bloodshot, deep welts running down his hairless chest.
No one comes to wake him up, not even with a slap or growl.
He wondered about that, at first. The Dursleys had never been the lightest of sleepers.
Later, Dumbledore asks him if his family left him alone during the summer. He’s sure Harry appreciates the silencing charms.
After all, even the Boy Who Lived needs a place to call ‘home’.

Title: Dinner Pairing: Lucius Malfoy / Narcissa Malfoy Rating: G Words: 100 Challenge: Home life
She butters a warm roll and nibbles daintily, clear eyes downcast, her expression brooding. He cuts into the steak, which is so rare you can practically hear it moo in protest.
"How was your day?" she asks politely. "Business as usual," he replies without looking at her. "Did Draco write today?" "Yes. He says his Charms OWL went well, except for a slight problem caused by Harry Potter." A gentle smirk. "Yes, Potter's causing all sorts of problems these days." A raised elegant eyebrow. "Oh?" "You'll find out soon, pet."
Dinner at Malfoy Manor is nothing to write home about.

Title: Fall Artist: soberloki Players: Snape/Potter/UFC Rating: G Word Count: 100 (W00t! An actual drabble!) Warnings/Kinks: Extreme vagueness. Notes: Don't even ask. I have no idea. Blame iTunes and the cream of mushroom soup. (Oh, but this is Marauders-era, Severus and James are seventeen.) Also posted in my own LJ.
Fall.
Severus Snape ran. If she dies. If she dies we go with her. He pounded the wet earth with his feet and thought of punishment, redemption, souls and their vessels.
Behind him, James Potter ran too. "We don't have time!"
Shut up. Shut up. Don't say it. Magic is intent. "We do."
Her weight in his arms was the only constant. We do.
“What are you going to do, Snivellus? We’re thirty miles from anywhere, and–“
She touched Severus' chest. He looked down, hoping her eyes would be open. Her hand fell away, and Severus fell away with her.

Title: Rise and Shine Author: mizBean Challenge: Home life Wordcount: 100 Characters/Pairings: Harry/Draco Notes: For some reason, I was having trouble domesticating Harry and Draco. This is the best I could come up with.
Draco rolls over, burrowing his head under his pillow to ward off the sunlight that is streaming into the bedroom.
It's not working.
He sighs, throwing his pillow away and glares balefully at the open windows.
It seems Harry doesn’t like to sleep with the curtains drawn.
Well, this proclivity of Potter's is going to change. Now. No relationship is worth waking up before noon. He charges out of the bedroom and stops, seeing Harry without a stitch of clothing on, calmly reading the morning paper.
A wicked smile slowly creeps across Draco’s face. Perhaps, rising early has its advantages.

Title: Home Rating: PG Characters: Slytherins (in general) Word Count: 100 Challenge: Home A/N: I’ve been wondering about this for a while, what their life would be like.
The rooms in the dungeons were cold; dripping with water from the lake, condensing along the walls, creating a draft that kept Madam Pomfrey busy with ill Slytherins. The boys would shiver, but never openly since that was not proper protocol for a male; and the girls would put their hands in the boys’ pockets, using the cold as an excuse to touch them.
No matter how drafty or uncomfortable the place felt it was still home. Gossiping, parties, study dates, serious conversations about how to make Potter’s life miserable; all things were daily in the life of a Slytherin.
