It's NaNo time again.  If you have decided to try to reach 100,000 words, please introduce yourself to us in the comments area.

Did you reach 100K?

I stopped at 89K words. I'm satisfied with that number. I probably could have reached 100K if I had tried as hard as I could, but I decided that it wasn't worth it.

So...are you planning for a 50K November - or a 100K November?

I'm excited to find out how everyone did. :D

I almost quit after getting 20k words by the 20th of the month. I got to 10k by the third day, but then the story died. I kept writing other things to make it to 20k, but I skipped so many days I knew it was impossible for me to get a 50k NaNo. Then the 21st came along and I started writing. I ended up with 50k words total by the 25th, just in time to validate. Then I reached 50k on the story I was writing and, almost at the same time, got 75k overall for NaNo.

I didn't reach 100k, and I only reached 54k on one story, but I think that's enough for me this month, because I loved writing the story I started. Maybe some other month I'll reach 100k again. :)

How about you? Did you make it? Did you enjoy writing or was it painful? Are you proud? Would you try it again?

Years Doing NaNo: This is my first. However, in the last 6 months I have co-written an on-going piece of fiction that is approaching 800k words right now.
